Jesus said, “Follow me, and I will make you fish🎏🎎🎣⛹🏼⛷ for people.”- Matthew 4:19 (NRSV)
Paul said, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of ⛪️💡✝💓Christ.”- 1 Corinthians 4:19 (NIV)
Mike Pence said, “I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order.”-
Tim Kaine, said, “Clinton’s a good Methodist and I’m a good Catholic even though We Support Abortion.”
WHAT SAY YOU?
When I read “Jesus said, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.”- Matthew 4:19 ” it came to my mind that Jesus did not say what age these ‘people’ were or at what stage of life: old, middle-aged, young or unborn people. He just said if we were going to be followers of His we needed to fish for people.
When I listened to Mike Pence and Tim Kaine, I understood Mike Pence to say that he values and cherishes all human life, even the unborn. It sounded to me that he, like Jesus, would regard and fish for all people with no exclusions. On the other hand, my take away from what Tim Kaine said was that, “Clinton’s a good Methodist and I’m a good Catholic even though We Support Abortion” meant that they would be selective fishermen, regarding some and discarding others.
Are you saying they fish only to be a Methodist or Catholic? I guess the rest of us are deplorables?
Guess, Sara, what I was trying to say is that Tim Kaine said they support abortion and that means that many children will never even see the light of day. They can’t be fished for (Matt 4:19) because they have already been discarded.
And yes, I guess anyone who views it differently from them is a deplorable.
When I read what you wrote below, Sara, I think you hit the nail on the head and put things in the correct perspective.
“What say you?” The first verse that came to mind was Psalm 33: 12, but after reading more of the chapter, I thought I could share here:
“Psalm 33:10-22New International Version (NIV)
10 The Lord foils the plans of the nations;
he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance.
13 From heaven the Lord looks down
and sees all mankind;
14 from his dwelling place he watches
all who live on earth—
15 he who forms the hearts of all,
who considers everything they do.
16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
no warrior escapes by his great strength.
17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
despite all its great strength it cannot save.
18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
19 to deliver them from death
and keep them alive in famine.
20 We wait in hope for the Lord;
he is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.
22 May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
even as we put our hope in you.”
Also, James 2: 19 came to mind.😳🙏 for our🇺🇸
This says to me increase your faith and expect a miracle!
I say, how can Senator Tim Kaine believe abortion is wrong but OK for others? I wonder why he thinks it’s wrong? Does he think it’s murder? How can murder be right for a helpless child. Just why does he think it’s wrong? Just words to get Catholics, his faith, he says, to vote for him? He says a woman has a right to make decisions about her own body. Of course, she could chose to have sex or not? Birth control or not? But, when she magically produces another life by choice in her body she agreed to ownership of another life.
Just don’t understand this abortion mixture Tim says he and Hill believe.
If these are its leaders, apparently the Democratic Party is a death cult.
“Death Cult” is a perfect description for this type of thinking and behavior.
I have flash thoughts of reading 💔 accounts of young girls having babies and toilet flush as weapons to dispose of their child’s life. This among other situations our young are being taught from the mouth of politicians. Senator Kaine didn’t say that in the way I just said it. But, what did he say? And, all those words about he, the great Catholic and Hill, the great Methodist, living their faith with such rigor and excitement and wanting others to have the same opportunity to do so. I thought he was a US senator and she a retiree from government employment. But, now they are experts on life and death.
Let’s just fire The Pope, Bishops, Rectors, Pastors and other Christian Church leaders.
I, no expert on anything but nevertheless a voice, have been a little slow in speaking up about this issue as I surely would not want any woman or man for that matter to feel condemned by what they might have done. Since I know the church offers forgiveness by the power and authority invested by the work of the Cross of Jesus Christ. But, this great authority given by Tim and Hill has surely stirred fire within me.
“Death Cult” party warning before one votes.
An interesting article…

Reading this article makes me a little uncomfortable. I know the church is not a building. So , it leaves me to wonder will Christ find faith in me?
Rigorous discussion to say the least!!! We deplorable ones must pray for those who are in arrogance and deception. Like Sara said in a conversation even if there were some ”reasonable” exemptions that would allow for the taking of the baby, before or at a certain limit of the pregnancy as we progress into the mire of corruption, the limit becomes less and less as unto partial birth abortion. What a fancy name for murder!
Speaking of deplorable, the Lord DEPLORED the passing of the infants through the fire of Molech in the Old Testament. He did Not think that a woman had the right to make a decision whether to keep the baby or pass it through the arms of the fire god…..a statue of a furnace/altar…dedicated to what was in reality a sacrifice of a human life to the enemy of GOD the FATHER. ….satan.
