  1. Hallelujah!! Indeed, has HE risen from the dead and He is alive!! And He abides in us and with us. If we really would allow that miraculous truth to burgeon, bud, blossom and bloom (Sara’s teaching) in our hearts we would not spend one gloomy day, no matter what the enemy throws at us.
For the risen Christ is alive and dwells within His people, those who love Him and Serve him and OBEY Him. ALL ARE INVITED TO COME TO HIM.
    Happy Easter, INDEED!

  2. When He rose from the dead Jesus came and appeared to His disciples and to ‘over five hundred brethren at once’, assuring them He was truly alive. He even dined with some of them.
He still wants to come and dine with us today if we will invite Him to. He is knocking at our door’s heart.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Rev 3:20 NKJ)
    Easter…what a real celebration!

  3. Hallelujah and Amen! When I was a child we would sing the following which is Easter’s assurance. The verse I remember the most is as follows:

Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
    He arose! He arose!
    Hallelujah! Christ arose!

Another one to follow this is from Jesus Paid It All by Elvina Hall, written in 1865

    I hear the Savior say
    Thy strength indeed is small
    Child of weakness….watch and pray
Find in me….thine all in all

    Chorus:
    Jesus paid it all
    All to Him I owe
Sin hath left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

    Lord, now indeed I find
    Thy power and Thine alone
    Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone

    For nothing good have I
    Whereby Thy grace to claim
    I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calvary’s Lamb

    And when before thy throne
    I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
    My lips shall still repeat

    Happy Easter! Jesus Loves You!

  4. In the link above onRena’s comment, there are scenes from the Passion of the Christ set to the background song of MARY DID YOU KNOW? As I watched the slaughter of my crucified Christ, although no device of mortal man or machine could truly capture and recreate what really happened that day on Golgatha, yet it was both terrifying and horrendous to watch what my sin and the sins of the world had done to Jesus Christ the Son of God. It made me want to cry and weep and repent for my own and for a world of evil and wrong and murder and hatred and tragedy. I wondered how we could ignore the love and compassion of a gargantuan God, Who in the form of man, came to rescue us from eternal damnation! How could we put Him off? How can we set Him aside for even a little season? How could we choose our gaudy baubles and binges and worldly doo-dads over the Redeemer of the universe? How could I even consider postponing my time with Him in prayer to pursue something of wood, hay and stubble? After what He did for me?? I am humiliated by my own cavalier attitude at any time, about the Lord and Savior, the risen Lamb of God that has paid an unfathomable price for me. I am bought with a price. The death and resurrection of the Son of God. Who do I think I am, apart from Him? Why would I want to be apart from Him? Oh ,my Lord, precious Savior!!….like the praise song we sang this morning in the Easter service…..”they crucified the Darling of Heaven” He is our Darling and our Lover and our God and Savior and we will never be able to repay Him for what He did on calvary….even if we try for all eternity. Thank You Jesus for your unsurmountable love.

  5. Although, the Easter season is past, the words HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED, are still echoing in my mind. Yes the Easter season is over but the impact of Easter will last forever and forever. When our Lord Jesus died on the cross, was placed in a tomb, and rose and walked out of the tomb, it changed everything. From that moment on, everything was different. Our Lord was beaten, mocked, torchered and excuted on a wooded cross with the sin of the world heavy on his shoulders. He was in so much pain, he couldn’t take a deep breath to fill His lungs with the oxygen that body requires, he was weaken from the blood draining from his wounds, and He was separate from God for that moment. Why? Because of our sin, because of the world’s sin. Jesus’ love for us defeated Satan and sin by becoming the ULTIMATE SACRIFIC. With compassion and mercy for us, He hung on that cross, He took His last breath and His Spirit was released. The people saw our Lord Jesus lifeless. He was placed in a tomb that was guarded. On the third day He Arose! He walked out of the tomb as our LIVING CHRIST!!! Our ultimate sacrifice is our living Christ. Thank you Jesus! So throughout this year, let us stop and allow the words “HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED” to echo through our minds and hearts. Let us take time to say thank you Jesus for your ultimate sacrific and praise you Lord for Rising from the grave and allowing us to worship you our LOVING, LIVING CHRIST. Let us stop and think about Jesus in our busy life, because He thought about us in His busy life
