Hi, my name is Baby Tina! Dolly is my Mom! (See earlier Blog Dolly) You remember she only has one ear. But, it’s a good ear. She has been on maternity leave. I’v found a favorite food while hopping over to our school chair. My Mom, Dolly, your Bunny Friend, says it’s time for me to greet my school teacher, Lady Landlord.
She has been looking for Dolly, and we are found!
I have to hop very secretive under bush after bush because danger lurks for me as I’m an easy target because I’m Tiny Tina and learning the trails. I now have a spot to nibble goodies and use my bunny ears to learn new things.
It’s raining very gently here and Lady Landlord uses an umbrella with flora print. I just nicely sit under a green leaf and take mental notes. Here is my learning for today. They were spoken by Lady Landlord’s good friend, Jesus. She says, it’s not just words spoken by anyone but words of great power! I think they are worth sharing and leaving with my new friends. Hey Ms Debi, thanks for finding me! Did you ID my food bowl? Those blooms are the best food ever for a bunny. I heard you gave this tiny bowl of green leaves but it turned into a blooming feast.
Lady Landlord talks on a little phone at times while I eat but often she sits in a porch chair and talks to her Bestie friend, Jesus. I nibble and she reads words like this (below) then ring, ring, she says, Hi to a son, then she turns These words into a daily ritual of HOPE for sin. She repeats in just a few minutes when another son calls. Wonder how many sons she has? Now she found her a new word, child, that’s me, tiny baby bunny finding food from the pot of blooms. Then she thanks me for being a word symbol to represent child because she has a new child that she talks to, a granddaughter. Hear her words:

Well, the food bowl I saw you reaching to eat in the photo is a Penta. Some call them Egyptian star cluster or star flower because their flowers are star-shaped. You picked a good, dependable food choice because they will produce blooms for you all summer until a frost. Do you like the leaves also? They should stay nice and green for you, even in the heat.
You certainly seem to be a good listener, just like your mother. It’s really great that you found food from your ‘food bowl’ and Wisdom Word food from Lady Landlord. I love the word “LOVE”. It is mentioned in Bible (which contains books written by authors of those who have loved the Lord). In the Gospel of John, love is mentioned 57 time which is more than in an any other book.
Psalm 36: 7 reads “How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. Tiny Tina there are two words you may not know yet. “Steadfast” means – unchanging. “Refuge” a safe place. Let’s say the verse again using the definitions. Psalm 36: 7. “How precious is your unchanging love, O God! The children of mankind take a safe place in the shadow of your wings.” Is that better Tiny Tina?
The greatest ‘love scripture’ to me is John 3: 16. This verse is the most quoted in the Bible. When I was little I memorized it as my Sunday School children have done also. Many Lady Landlord will have you memorize it also. “ For God so loved the world, that He (God) gave His only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” It takes a long time for this verse to be completely understood. Lady Landlord’s school will help you.

I read and thought on it, too. As I did, I was reminded of a little “Book of Prayers – On Image” that Lady Landlord wrote a while back. She quoted that same verse in the chapter “Fear” and wrote a prayer about it. Her version said, “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.”
I was thinking how you said you have had to dodge birds recently; be secretive because “danger lurks”; learn lots of new things about being a child (some of which may be uncomfortable) and this might be a good prayer if you feel any fear that these may cause. I know it helps me (as one of the “children of men”) when I read it and feel any fear.

From reading your questions and Lady Landlord’s and Tammy’s comments and concerns, I had some thoughts.
Tiny Tina you heard this wonderful news that Tammy shared from John 15 and then said “I should be serving and yet a table of glorious beauty is daily set before me to enjoy.”
Seems you got a bit too focused on the enjoyment of all the Creator beauty and comforts. That’s probably why Lady Landlord said to you that you misunderstood and needed to develop your thoughts. You told us Tina that, “She says I should be serving”.
Lady Landlord may have wanted you (and all of us) to understand that while it’s great to enjoy God’s beauty, eating fine food and hopping happily around, we are called to something more. We can’t just enjoy His bounty and not give praise (which is service) for it. She even shared a song about it all to help us see. “ Fair are the meadows,
fairer still the woodlands,”…but the song said Jesus is fairer, purer, rules all nature and we should serve Him with “Glory and honor, praise, adoration, now and forevermore…”
Tina, I have learned from Lady Landlord that praise is more than a thought, emotion or singing a song. It is service. I was reading just the other day from Psalm 148 which commands all creation to praise and worship Him. And verse 10 said even, “small scurrying animals (that’s you!) and birds.”… The Psalm says, “Let every created thing give praise to the LORD, for he issued his command, and they came into being. He set them in place forever and ever.”
He knows He made us all with a plan and purpose to serve Him through what we do in the “place” He has set us in. Some of His creation and creatures serve by teaching us many things if we will pay attention. (I have learned a lot from you and your mother Dolly and Lady Landlord) All serve Him by playing a role in His Kingdom plans and purposes. Some, like your mother, serve Him by having and nurturing you…(and others to follow you) so you can continue to praise and serve him and do your part in His economy (that’s like the Creator’s big way of weaving and putting all the little parts of service together to make something really big and important happen). Gee, you even help prune the flowers, plants, and clover in the lawn so they grow and produce more! If we think about it long enough, we can think of many ways you and your relatives serve…but there is time, energy, dedication and work involved.
Now Tiny Tina, when you signed off last night you said you were going to “hop back to rest and do homework. Hum, I’v got another song to learn. “ After your rest, study and learning your new song, do you think my thoughts make any sense?

You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.” (Romans 6:16).
Searching further, I found that Jesus had some things to say about all this when he tried to help people blinded by their sinful hearts see and understand that they were servants to a different kingdom than He was from. “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham. And yet some of you are trying to kill me because there’s no room in your hearts for my message. I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. But you are following the advice of your father.”
Apparently, these people thought they had the same Father as Jesus, but He sat them straight and told them: “If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It’s because you can’t even hear me! For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does.“ John 8: 34-48
Tina, you and your one-eared mother, Dolly have great listening ears. But it seems many of us two legged creatures can’t hear even with the two ears we were given by the Creator.
And Tina, I also read that Jesus had a friend named Paul. Looks like he was one of these people you talked about, “members of a New Kingdom!” He made a choice about which kingdom he wanted to serve and shared this with us, “But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.” Romans 6:22
And then I read something another friend of Jesus said. His name was Peter. (I think these two people understood real well what you about, “stair step”) I can see why Jesus calls them His friends. Peter said, “For you are a slave to whatever controls you. And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.” 2 Peter 2:19-20

I started thinking about what are those astronauts doing on that space shuttle tonight? Did they fly over my home and see me Tiny little Tina! And, what else do they see? Is that heaven?
Tiny Tina, I can’t wait to meet your new friends and siblings. It’s a good thing that LLL “has energy of an energized bunny when she shares about her friend.” She will will have a lot more teaching to do with all the new students!

Tina, it sounds like you have been hoppin to it with your comments and questions about the astronauts and heaven.
So, I went back to get LLL’s “Book of Prayers – on Image” for us to read together as she talked about Heaven in that book. She gave us two verses to think on and then said a prayer that may help us to “Think about the things of heaven…”
Here we go:
“For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. I Corinthians 13:12-13″
“Dear Heavenly Father:
Heaven? Why yes, Lord, I’m awaiting that day when I will see my Savior face to face. That judgement seat? BEMA? Am I ready? Are all my works polished, I mean really as pure as gold? It seems when I pray about Heaven, I have lots of questions.
Thank you, Lord, that today You and I were happy with lots of questions. Father, thank You for Your Son, Jesus, in whose Name I pray.”
