Preheat the oven to 325°F. Adjust an oven rack to the middle position. Grease and flour a 12-cup tube pan or Bundt cake pan.In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in milk and vanilla and continue to heat until small bubbles form around the outside of the pan and the mixture is very hot but not boiling. Reduce heat to low.Meanwhile, in an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine eggs and sugar on medium-high speed for 5 minutes. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.Once the egg and sugar mixture has tripled in volume, slowly add the hot milk mixture, mixing on low speed until incorporated. Add the dry ingredients in two batches, mixing after each addition until just incorporated.Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour, checking 5 minutes prior to baking end time. A toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake should come out clean, with a few crumbs attached, but do not over-bake.Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack or serving plate to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

I remember days gone by when people would use what they had some grandparents would call similar recipe “Three Milk Cake.. Now don’t follow this but as a little girl I was told things like this. They would milk a cow, strain milk I think, set up in pan and cream would form on top. So they would use this milk and cream and add a can of carnation milk to just have enough milk for the day’s needs yet have a cake.

My sister and I would milk the cows and then strain the milk. We would put cream in one container and milk in another. My Dad would put cans in a tub with ice to sale.
We baked primarily with whole milk. We often would use the cream to make butter or ice cream. The Hot Milk Cake we used whole milk. This time I used half and half because I had it in the frig.
Condensed milk we used for making snow cream which tasted like soft served ice cream and we used it to make pumpkin pies. 😋
My Mom used powdered milk when we didn’t have the real thing. yuck!!
My friend didn’t seem to know about the Hot Milk Cake. She just knew it was good and thought it because of the cream.

I’m a great follower of communities where communities are now teaching their children to live off the land. And, they are doing it. The skills, socialization, respect Plus kindness, integrity plus…are in the forever column.
So often we meet others on our life journey and they call you friend and use you for their designated purposes. Then they discard you like a use paper/plastic plate. So bad for them because they pollute the water (Jesus) Message with their trash.
I have seen it so often how minds wasted on abuse damages the soul. Their soul. Watch and you will see a cycle of waste.
That’s my quick musing of observation where scriptures will help us understand.

So, I thought I would look at some scriptures that “will help us understand.”
