I planted some bulbs and look what is blooming now!š±š Tammy Holton

āFor since the creation of the world Godās invisible qualitiesāhis eternal power and divine natureāhave been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made,..āRomans 1:20
What a beautiful lily, Tammy! Amazing to think on; that in that plain, seeming simple bulb you planted⦠it was all thereā¦those vibrant colors and petals and leaves. It had to go down into the dark and moist of of earthās soil to awaken to this beautiful life. It sure illustrates the scripture about āGodās invisible qualitiesā. Thanks for sharing āwhat is blooming nowā.
Debi, when I see one bulb and one Lily the question will they multiply and spread?
Yes, to your question, Sara, but I did not know there were so many ways to get more of them until I read Philās great info below.
Thanks for sharing it, Phil! It was really helpful and useful. Looking forward to seeing a multiplication of Lilies in Tammyās garden.
Thanks Debi. I was thinking how ugly the bulb was compared to how beautiful the flower is. šŗšøš» I know you understand it, given your horticulture background. š„°
Tammy, a good friend, Phil, of The Daily Lily spotted your beautiful Lily and offered a great site for our edification. Great info here. We might see many more lilies from your garden. š„° Thanks Phil!

I love the picture of the daily lilies I have a number of lilies and I literally did nothing and they have multiplied. I got the lilies from friends who live here in Alabama
I love the imagery of the root bloom looking ugly. When we are born we are filled with sin and sin is ugly. When planted in good soil the bulb pushes through the blanket of dirt (the earth and sin) reaching for the sun, the light of Jesus, the stulk strainsupward to touch The light( Jesus). due to the plants thirst, Jesus sends the rain.( Jesus). thus the plant is strengthened by the Lord. the plant being accepting of Jesus and all He had poured into the plant and begins to show the fullness given to the plant bringing forth the uniqueness God had given it. The beauty due to Jesus shines forth for all to see. Are you filled up with Jesus and blooming with the uniqueness He gave you? Accept Him and bloom where you are for Him.
