- Refrain:🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all. - Each little flow’r that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings. - The purple-headed mountains,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning
That brightens up the sky. - The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one. - The tall trees in the greenwood,
The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water,
To gather every day. - He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
Thanks for sharing this, Sara. I love this hymn and love to sing it and think on each thing written. It makes you pause and observe His creation and creatures and appreciate all that God has made.
It really expresses Psalm 104: 24
“How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”
The Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
—Genesis 2:7 (NRSV)

Ecclesiastes 3
11 ¶ He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
Genesis 1
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Beautiful song above 🎵 🎶 🎵 🎶 As I read this blog, this Scripture came to mind: (NIV) “ Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” 🙏
“…have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
If you have ever wondered will God, Our Heavenly Father, ever leave anyone out of His camera view you have your answer. Pause, look, behold…..show and tell…” his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen.”
I watched part of God’s story unfold before my eyes in my own yard yesterday. Debi was kindly giving me a hand with gardening cleanup which she often does (not my favorite I like the buds and blooms and greens). I must say the yard is at its best for spring beauty. I had to pause and do other things when I saw Debi dirty, tired, dragging brown trees etc pause to talk with a neighbor that was not in our timing but in God’s timing. She was tired as well and didn’t feel her best but her eyes began to behold the various garden spots, butterfly garden, bird sanctuary and other sweet spots. She felt the presence of God just as Romans said, his divine nature. She didn’t think her gardens were doing well which was in Debi’s view and felt a little jealous. Debi, being the horticulturist she is pause to tell her the beauty spots she had noticed glowing from her porch and yard. I saw from my window the glow of God ‘s eternal power as kindness became the theme of garden therapy.
