Your photo, Sara, sure gives a real-life example of faith exhibited in God creation. That caterpillar looks like he (or she) is going about the business of working to eat to live and grow with the assurance that these necessary steps will pay off. It’s not yet ‘seen’ that one day he (or she) will fly high as a beautiful butterfly, but there surely must be a God-given ‘assurance’ and ‘conviction’ to keep going, moving, eating toward that unseen goal.
It seems easy to have faith to believe a butterfly will appear from this caterpillar and the community where the caterpillar dwells will be blessed to see and enjoy the beauty of a butterfly fluttering around. We are told we humans really can’t help In this transformation.
And, real easy to believe we only need faith the size of a mustard seed.
““You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.””

Does this faith work for the horrific war we are hearing over our air waves this moment in Israel with Hamas. The children and parents that are missing. Hostages, wounded, dead.
Truly we have a mountain that needs moving! We need the faith the size of a mustard seed.

The end point is believing in God’s promises: He will do what he says.
