  1. Thank you, Sara, for sharing “The Homespun Wife’s Post” here on the Daily Lily on the Good Friday. I so appreciate reading her account and the accompanying scriptures as well as looking at the meaningful illustration.  How wise her words are: “Meaning and purpose come from our Heavenly Father alone. Any other source will let us down.”

  2. The photo above reminds us of the love Jesus has for all mankind. ✝️🙏. John 15: 9- 14 (NIV) Says: ““As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.”

  3. “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him won’t perish but will have eternal life. God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him isn’t judged; whoever doesn’t believe in him is already judged, because they don’t believe in the name of God’s only Son. “This is the basis for judgment: The light came into the world, and people loved darkness more than the light, for their actions are evil. All who do wicked things hate the light and don’t come to the light for fear that their actions will be exposed to the light. Whoever does the truth comes to the light so that it can be seen that their actions were done in God.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭21‬ ‭CEB‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/37/jhn.3.16-21.CEB
