“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
Hebrews 11:1, 3 NKJV

The footnotes for Hebrews 11: 1,3 says: (NLT) “The beginning point of faith is believing in God‘s character. He is who he says. The end point is believing in God‘s promises. He will do what he says. When we believe that, God will fulfill his promises, even though we don’t see those promises materializing yet, we demonstrate true faith (see John 20: 24-31).
God called the universe into existence out of nothing, he declared that it was to be, and it was. Our faith is in the God who created the entire universe by his word. God‘s word has awesome power. When he speaks, do you listen and respond? how can you better prepare yourself to respond to God’s word?” 🙏
What a beautiful illustration of ‘Faithful ‘Grace’ that so clearly depicts Sara’s title…”Faith is” and “God will make a way”.
Some thoughts and scriptures that came to mind when I gazed at the illustration where the gate opening is only as wide as the child’s extended arms who appears to be going through it into the brightness of the light on the other side were:
The gate is not wide. Matt. 7:14: “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
A small child is pictured as “Faithful Grace”. Matt. 18:2-4: “He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
Children loved Jesus. Matt: 21:15: “The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David.” But the leaders were indignant.”
Not all faith is the kind of faith in Sara’s scripture Hebrews 11:1, 3; or that found in Tammy’s footnotes. I Cor. 13:2: “And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”
