Bible Knowledge

Only about 1 out of 4 people in the UK can place Bible stories in their proper order. They were asked quickfire questions with very
little time to answer. Why don’t you give yourself ten minutes and see if you can place these in order and then find where they are located in the Bible?

1. Feeding of the 5000.
2. David killing Goliath.
3. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the blazing furnace.
4. Noah and the ark.
5. Paul on the Damascus road.
6. The Sermon on the Mount
7. Solomon dedicating the temple.
8. Moses and the burning bush.
9. Peter’s vision of unclean animals.
10. Jesus and the woman at the well.
11. Aaron and the golden calf.
12. The Lord’s Prayer.
13. Isaiah’s vision of God
14. The Good Samaritan.
15. Peter walking on water

  1. WOW! I could tell if it’s in the NT or the OT and MOST of the books but not all and certainly not in chronological order. This is a GOOD test at how much we pay attention when we are reading the WORD of GOD. Thanks for the wake-up call. The Brits have nothing on me, I guess.

  2. I couldn’t do it within the 10 mins. And I had a tendency to want to cheat. Like think about it and get back to it. Search a little, etc.

    So fact is I failed!!!!

Now I am on my admit it, face it and change it! Here goes my point, change the fact that I just didn’t want to admit I FAILED THE TEST!!!!!!!

Wendy was a great help in this with her forthright honesty even when it is about you. Thanks Wendy for putting up a mirror for me in some of your recent testing that God has allowed you to go through.

I feel a little angry about something so near and dear to my heart. How easy it is to let the important things slip while doing the non- important. My guilt has more than doubled.

But, the one beauty in all this is that I know that God still loves me the same. His love for us is unconditinal and we can have fun and joy in a Bible Quiz and still be loved by the AUTHOR!

But, I have to live with this computer author!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. This was a good exercise though I only got the first five in correct order. Plus I went over the time limit because it took me an additional 20 minutes to use my study Bible to look up the answers. Looks like I got burned on these ‘quickfire’ questions.

  4. At least I thought I had almost made it until I realized I hadnt clicked on the read more area and thats when I found out there were five more bible stories to put in order. That put me back to the beginning and I just didnt make it and well….I can only say this exercise is a good one…it makes you know that you dont know what you think you know….dj

  5. I must admit along with the rest that I could not do this within the time limitations. I like to read the stories again and honestly got the time order of a few mixed up. I can hardly wait to try this out on my Sunday School Class. It will be a great culminating activity for the year as we have read most of these stories in class. Thanks.

    1. With a Sunday School teacher like you Rena, your class will pass the test we failed. 🙂

I am always so impressed with your work both in Sunday School, school and of course all you do. You are a Light so continue to shine bright.
