Here we are very early in the Holiday season. Chris and Tammy just called to tell me as they were leisurely strolling through Target they were greeted with Merry Christmas big and bold on Holiday signs. Cards, decorations, and gifts to purchase that say to us Christmas is about Christ the Lord and His Birth.
I appreciate you Target and employees that take the time to provide a greeting of “Merry Christmas” as I go about my shopping and enjoying the joy. I do love your stores and it’s one of my favorite stops almost daily.
I pray that we as customers will remember to greet Target employees with Merry Christmas and pause to say, Thank you.

Wal-Mart Wishes You a Merry Christmas

The Christmas spirit is spreading. Macy’s, the largest U.S. department store chain, plans to have “Merry Christmas” signs in all departments. All of Macy’s window displays will have Christmas themes. At New York’s Herald Square, the theme will be “Oh, Christmas Tree.”

I am so happy to see the stores excited about the Birth of Jesus Christ. Some of my friends along with me have been diligently looking for a big nativity to place in my front yard for the season. We were unable to find one until today. Lowes has them and they are lovely. They have two different styles and very reasonably price for the scene.
I am very thankful that we can place in our yards a nativity. I would just love to see every Christian Family place a nativity in their yards. Can you imagine the beauty of the lights and the testimony it would bring.
Sara, thanks for telling me about the light up outdoor Mary and Joseph and Jesus Nativity figures that Dorothy found at Walmart. They also sell the sheep, the cow, the donkey and the Wise Men separately to go with it. Plus they had smaller indoor Nativities.
