Baby Bear’s Adventure

Hi! I’m Baby Bear and I live on the oak shelf over a little girl’s
twin sized bed. One day she took me off the shelf and took me to a
place that I have never seen before. I saw a sign, and it said, Welcome to
Blake’s Christmas Tree Farm! I was at a Christmas tree
farm!

We got out of the car and walked towards these huge Christmas trees. I
was so happy that I was at a tree farm. The little girl found a tree
that her family liked. She placed me down on the hard, cold concrete,
and walked towards her mother and father. Her father said that they
would be on their way. They walked away without me. I’m so sad
that they left me.

A day later I decided to go walk around, because I was tired of
sitting on the cold concrete. I wondered off, and I ended up in the
middle of the tree farm. I was totally lost. I decided to ask the
Christmas trees were I was. The first tree I came to said “Go 60
trees to the right and you will reach Uncle Sam the oldest tree on the
farm.

It took me almost a day to get to Uncle Sam, and he said, “All you
have to do is think about the little girl, and you will be in her arms.
I thought intensely about the loving and caring little girl and just as
Uncle Sam said, I was in her arms, smothered in tender love.

This was the best Christmas ever!!!!

  1. Thank you for sharing this story. It reminds me that so many children, like the bear, are left on the cold concrete of this earth with no one to care for them. There must be so many that wish they had loving arms to embrace them. Luckily the bear in this story did have someone, and he only had to wish and love was smothering him. Thank goodness God has given arms to people to embrace others in His name. He knows love and says the greatest of all the commandments is to LOVE. Thank goodness God has made us ambassadors of LOVE for Him. So like the little girl, we can give God hugs as he directs and always directing their path to the one who gave His life for us. Jesus! Merry Christmas Toto.
    Love, Mrs. O

  2. Toto what a good story about love. Love Himself was born on Christmas and in this story I am reminded of I Cor 13:8 which says ,”Love never fails.” Love didn’t fail Baby Bear and He won’t fail us when we call out to Him with all our mind and heart. Thanks for writing it.

  3. Hi TOTO
Another great story. What an imaginative writer you are. Your story makes me think of Santa and when I think and believe in Santa seemly he always shows up every single Christmas.
But, even more than Santa it makes me think of The Holy Spirit, kinda of like Uncle Sam prompting us and encouraging us to have Faith and believe and we will have the things we need. The Holy Spirit encourages us to think on Jesus and Our Heavenly Father and we will have those outstretched arms to reach out and love us.
I know many will enjoy reading your story and will be encouraged. TOTO, you are outstanding with words and putting a pen to your imagination. I hope to read many more of your stories.
    Merry Christmas,
    Sara
PS, TOTO, will Santa be coming to your house? If so, what are you believing Saint Nick will bring?

  4. This is a terrific story, TOTO!! How wise of you to allow Baby Bear to take the advice of an ELDER TREE, Uncle Sam, in the story. That is a good device for helping to teach younger children and children of all ages to listen to older and wiser authorities.
Your story had a happy ending which is just perfect for a CHristmas story. Just like the FIRST CHRISTMAS story has a happy ending. Because of Jesus’ being born on earth and bringing salvation to mankind we get to be smothered in His arms in Heaven , forever; sort of like Baby Bear in “little girl’s” arms.
    Merry, merry Christmas, TOTO!

  5. Oh what a beautiful story to help remind us to just stay focused on the prize that lay before us…If we just keep on looking and seeking asking and knocking Jesus said we will find and we will recieve…just stay focused and the love in our hearts will lead us to the one that Loved us first….what a lovely story….Ms Dorothy
