Great Video TAMMY AND CHRIS M. You have won the blue ribbon in my heart again.
Debi, I love the way you have given us step-by-step technique in arranging our roses. Made arranging roses so easy and fun for anyone. You truly are a pro.
Was this one of the many classes you teach? Watching you and seeing all those beautiful flowers sure has helped to take the chill off this blistering snow strew dark freezing night.
Made me read Jersey’s poem on love again and think of creative ways to show love to all this Valentine Day.
Enjoyed this presentation very much. It was explicit, and Debi gave easy to follow directions so that even those of us who are less skilled could produce a lovely display following her instructions.
Good job on the taping, also. This is a great outreach, personal and inspiring. Thanks to Debi and Chris and Tammy for your creativity, style, flair and “Tech” skills.
I thought Tammy and Chris M. did a great job with the video work, also! They are both so talented and such a motivational team. Many thanks to them for making this project possible.
In answer to your question,Sara, yes, this is one of the many classes that I teach. The class that night was an Adult Floral Design class offered through the Loudoun County Virginia Adult Education program. I also teach Landscape Design, Turfgrass and other horticulture courses through this program, in addition to teaching horticulture to high school students at Monroe Technology Center in Leesburg, Virginia.
Thanks for the comments. I enjoy helping others develop their skills through horticulture, step-by-step, and always look forward to and welcome interaction and input from students of all ages and backgrounds. Such a joy to watch each one’s creativity flow.
Along with teaching horticulture, I also have my own landscape design and horticultural consultation business. For those who have difficulty visualizing what their landscape will look like from a blueprint, I can create a 3-D computerized image design. This design utilizes digital photography so you can preview what the landscape of your residence, business or town will look like. My other horticultural services also include turf grass consultation, and general plant care and diagnostics. Email me @ debplant1@hotmail.com or call me 703- 431-9691.
Wow,,, thank you ‘Daily Lily’ and Tammy and Chris and Sara and Debi! I’ve always wanted to attend one of Debi’s floral classes but work evenings and now through The Daily Lily and the two of you I have been to Debi’s class! and I’ve leaned so many vital things..Debi I didn’t know lemon/lime soda could be used if conditioner was not available….the music at the end was really wonderful…In the Song of Songs which is Solomons chapter 2 verses 1 and 2…I AM the Rose of Sharon, and the Lily of the valleys….As the Lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters…..(to me thats the Daily Lily!) It’s THE LILY and its full of so many lovely things that bring Faith Hope and Love….Its just so amazing to see the gifts of God being in use and to SEE them!…..ALL being used TOGETHER..to get this demonstration clip, video to ones that love flowers and love to arrange them in real form…..wonderful…dj
I loved watching your video – it was so helpful to me as I never feel like I get my arrangements just right. I hope after watching your video that you will be getting a call from Duane for a Valentine’s order … 🙂 Thanks for including me on the distribution list for your newsletter.
I THOUGHT YOU DID A WONDERFUL PRESENTATION ON HOW TO ARRANGE THE ROSES. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HAD ANY TIPS ON WHAT I CAN GROW IN THE GROUND THAT IS MOSTLY SAND. SOMETHING THAT WILL PERK UP MY EMPTY YARD.
Debi, I love this. You did a wonderful job. I picked on several tips. Roses are one of my favorit flowers. Today the daily lily. Tomorrow the Today show!! Great job!!!
