May all Mothers feel the presence of God today, the love of their children and receive blessings from the love spread throughout the world by the prayers of all God’s children.

  1. I had a wonderful Mother’s Day! I first did one of my favorite things by attending church and enjoying flowers, love and gifts from my church family.

I had lunch at an outstanding restaurant with three wonderful men. My sons treated me like royalty and lavished me with wonderful gifts to feast my eyes upon and keep and enjoy and remember them each day. Also cards of favor and many encouraging words.

I really enjoy Mother’s Day. It sure gives ‘women’ a great boast for the year. Have you noticed when one gets encouragement it sure causes energy to spring forth in the mind, body and soul. My many thanks go out to all including ‘the daily lily’ that sent your wonderful greetings my way.

I Corinthians 14:2…”But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them.”

The Word says we should all desire this gift and use it! WOW we can do it daily with the help of the Holy Spirit.

  2. This was attached to a pin I received for Mother’s Day one year, and I feel it is appropriate to share here.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity: she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of the household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed: her husband also, and he praises her. Many women do noble things: but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting: but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her the reward she has earned, and let her words bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31: 25-31

  3. This is a tall order and yet simple in the hands of Our Lord.

She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue, sounds like the study we have been in on The Daily Lily for a few weeks now. Hopefully, it will pay off with the “laugh at the days to come.”

I am so thankful for the Word of God and for those that proclaim the Word on a daily and moment by moment basis to give Joy in the midst of our daily duties.
