  1. Interestingly, just last night, as we were having dinner, my son and I were talking. He said, “mom, when plan “A” doesn’t work, we go to plan “B” , and if plan “B” doesn’t work, you just give up, right?” I said, “Oh no, you never give up, you develop a plan “C”. I hope I said the right thing to him? He is in the “tween” years.

  2. Hey Needles, I admire the counsel you gave your son. Never give up on plans, a, b, c, d, e, f, g….up the scale and ladder he goes.

This man’s quote scares me. Maybe it was never meant to be a quote. Meaning someone took it out of context. I don’t know but it sounds too much like he thinks he is god.

  3. When God made Adam and Eve and placed them in the garden of Eden His plan A was for them to tend it and be fruitful and mutiply and have unashamed fellowship with Him. In their disobedience of sin they ate from the forbidden tree and had to leave the garden. Even though this plan changed, God still loved them enough to keep them in plan B out of the garden and away from eating the tree of life. He clothed them and cared for them thern one day in His greatest plan sent Jesus to deliver us all from this mistake.

  4. God knew from the before the beginning of time that Adam & Eve would sin and that is why HE already had HIS plan in action. It did not come as a surprise to Him, that He was caught unawares and had to figure out something else. Before the beginning of time He had made a covenant with His Son Jesus Christ who from the beginning was with Him. HIS PLAN A was to save mankind from himself through and by the rescue of the shed blood of His Son. In this manner mankind is able to attain to even a higher position, in Christ Jesus, than the paradise of the original creation. God walked with Adam. God walks with us and IN us.

  5. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” God does have a Plan for our lives, for each of us, individually and corporately. It might be that we try Plan A & B & C & D until, if we love the Lord with all our hearts and seek Him we could find out what and/or how to attain it without so much TRIAL AND ERROR….present company included.
Kenneth Hagin tells a well-known story of how he pastored a very successful church for 12 years where people got healed and delivered and set free and prospered. He thought he was doing the Lord’s will. Then the Lord told him, ‘I never told you to pastor a church. You are a teacher to the Body of Christ.” God was merciful to him and to some of us who run around, shuning our calling because we don’t want that one and think we know a better one for us. It happens often in the Body of Christ. I have visited with people who are doing a ministry they are not called to do. They are called but not to the one they have chosen, for whatever reason, thinking they are pleasing God or some saint suggested that they would make a good such & such.
Do we always know HIS perfect will, the Master Plan for each particular life? No, not always. But we see how God works in the lives of those who KNOW HIS PLAN for them and we see how HE works in their ministries. We can quit our posts, for whatever reason, and say that God can give us another plan…try another gate, jimmy open another door, to see if something will work out for us.
Yes, when problems arise in our lives we do look for different solutions to find what will alleviate the situation,in the material world. But as far as the PLAN OF GOD FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL LIFE AND BEING….He’s the MAN with the PLAN.

  6. Adam and Eve comments above was Plan B, wasn’t it? I think God offered them a fig leaf and He is still offering fig leaves for Plan B, C, D, or whatever plan we chose to be on and in need of.

I think I will write a song, “Thank God for The Fig Leaf.” I owe it all to Him for Plan B. Dictionary: “plan B an alternative strategy : it’s time I put plan B into action”. I think Jesus and the Cross was Plan B and thank God He saw that my plans are at times flawed and I need the fig leaf.

I love reading, quoting and telling others this…Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Plan A, but, I am already on plan B before noon.

Personally, for my mind and heart I would say each person’s walk of faith is a plan and each of us will work it out with our creator.
