  1. Boy, the scripture Antwaan has on his car, sure puts work into perspective, doesn’t it? Colossians 3:23: “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”

  2. Great photo Chris!
And yes, Needles, I agree that Antwaan’s scripture reflects an attitude we all should have and that will make the day brighter for us and others around us.

  3. This was one of the many photos, autographs, etc. that Chris got for me when he and Gary went to Redskins Park to see the car show (Redskins players cars) and meet the players. I was working out of town that day. I usually go with Chris on this special day. But, I had to let Gary have my place this year. 😦 Chris is a season ticket holder and we get to enjoy many benefits of games and park fun.

I am always so happy to see how many of our players and coaches and staff are not ashamed of their faith. They willing show it and talk it. Maybe not as popular with the news but their faith is REAL POPULAR with the higher Authorities!!!!

By the way, the Redskins beat Dallas Sunday night. That was a real show!!!!

  4. Needles, it sure does!!!! That includes working at home behind the scenes. It will show and it will make the difference in life’s journey. This includes words of our mouth, written and spoken. Attitude, fortitude and knowing right from wrong as well as obeying the rules….And, the greatest love. Which I see so often in prayers like Antwaan.

Hey, girls, I just had a thought. I can write (speak) with my new red lipstick since I don’t have a ride like Amtwaan. What do you think?

  5. It is heartening to think that a young, super athlete is bold enough in his faith to preach it wherever he goes (drives). Our young men and women will be intrisically involved in the revival that the Lord wants to send to this nation presently and this is a good start and a great witness to that.

  6. Mark 8:38 says: “If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

I guess Antwaan isn’t ashamed one bit, is he? God bless him.

  7. “And, the greatest love. Which I see so often in prayers like Antwaan.” I wrote this in my comment above. I see where CF later posted a new blog quoting 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 on love. CF ends this portion of scripture by asking; “Have we put away our childist thinking….have we loved the unlovable, just as God loves us?”

I see that Antwaan could be called the unlovable to many just as Jesus was when He taught truth. Antwaan gives scripture how we should handle situations at work. I am going to quote my own words here once again for my own edification and hopefully application… “This includes words of our mouth, written and spoken. Attitude, fortitude and knowing right from wrong as well as obeying the rules….And, the greatest love. Which I see so often in prayers like Antwaan.”

How many times do we hear about people at work ratting on one another. Trying to usurp authority and take another’s job. It sure would take a bucket load of pride and arrogance to think we knew best about how another handles their work to the point of gossiping and taletelling to the superiors without cause. It might be wise to check on ourselves and our work ethic before we judge others and especially our superiors.

Colossians 3:23: “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
