Cold

and windy! ‘I’m going to huff and puff and blow your house down’….is the way it sounded in my neighborhood last night and still puffing a little. The big bad wolf is on the move!

What’s the weather like around your home?

  1. Cold and windy around my home also. Thanks for the warning that ‘The big bad wolf is on the move!’. It’s getting late for inspections now on the structural integrity of my house, but I am checking, hoping to make changes to anyplace I see straw or sticks. That sure won’t stand when the wolf huffs and puffs on it.

The Builder’s Manual says: “These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock. Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit—but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock. But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don’t work them into your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who built his house on the sandy beach. When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a house of cards.” Matt 7:24-27 Message

  2. Right now, it is cool outside, but the sun is shining. Although the sun is shining, we all know that rain and wind will; indeed, happen. Thanks for the reminder that “the big bad wolf is on the move” and that we must “fix our homes on the rock!”

  3. Sorry I’m reading this a bit late. I guess today one could sing, “Heavenly sunshine, heavenly sunshine, shining all day long. Gentle winds blowing. Temperature are just about 70 degrees warming all that sit and enjoy it, mainly my pug JD.
