ADVENT-Week 4-LOVE

ADVENT-Week 4-LOVE

Love has been borne in us. It is our beginning and our never
ending…Look for the Star! Find the Star! Worship The Star! Sing of His Names, tell of His Glory, Give of His Love and show to all The Light that lights The World.

Let us Worship in Song;
“Lord, You are more precious than silver;
Lord, You are more costly than gold;
Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds;
And nothing I desire compares with You.
Lord, Your life is divine, eternal.
Lord, Your life regenerated me….”

Merry Christmas!

  1. Sara, you wrote to “look for the Star; worship the Star; sing of His Names, tell of His
    glory.’ Numbers 24: 17 tells us just Who this Star is in the following passage.
    “I see Him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel….”
    That Star prophesied of so long ago has come to us….Emmanuel, God with us. He has drawn nigh and drawn us to Himself by the blood of the Lamb of God.
    He’s here!! He has already arrived; God with us revealed in us.
    Now, must we continue to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of our fleshly deeds or are we going to celebrate the coming of the Lord Jesus by celebrating Him? It’s been said a million times, a million ways from 2000 years ago till now. But while it is still called TODAY, if we hear His voice speaking to our hearts let’s not ignore it but let the Love of the Lord Jesus Christ transform our hearts by inviting Him to be born again in us that we may be “born again” in Him.

  2. The most beautifully wrapped presents, and brightest star on top of the Christmas tree sure do pale in comparison to thinking on the Love expressed in the song and words you share above, Sara. And to think on the words you wrote “Love has been borne in us. It is our beginning and our never ending”… that even though we may have been living and breathing and walking on this earth, we can never even begin life until this Love is borne in us.

  3. In trying to follow Gary’s directives during yesterday’s teaching I re-read the the Christmas story in Matthew this morning. And i saw something that I had never noticed or maybe “noted” before. And it gave me a thrill of hope, again.
    In Matthew chapter 2, the Wise men from the east saw the Star and followed it to Jerusalem…looking for the “King”. The wise men saw the star but obviously Herod did not see the Star for he had to ask the wise men to let him know where the Star was resting. The Star was hidden from him.
    So it is written that those who seek the Lord with all their hearts will see the Star, the Star out of Jacob, that is Jesus.
    Thank You Lord.

    Perfect song of worship for, the “Light of the World”

  5. Thanks for the sing along Tammy Holton as we worship the Light of the World. I’m so glad He is a light that never dims, blinks or goes out! There is none to compare to His brightness. For Holy is light and Holy is bright!
