CS Monroe Tech Spring Plant Sale

The Spring Plant Sale at Monroe Technology Center in Leesburg, Virginia is on! There is a great assortment of annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, small fruits and fruit trees, aquatic plants and fish; over 500 hanging baskets; and 1200+ tomato plants to choose from. But what makes this sale especially exciting is the new kiosk of air plants, many of which are displayed in colorful 3Dprinter jellyfish and other unique designs by Christopher Mar! So stop in and see it all. You will find students and volunteers in bright orange T-shirts by CustomInk ready to assist. Sale days and times are Wednesday, April 27 from 10-8pm; Thursday, April 28 from 10-6pm and Friday, April 29 from 10-5pm.

What a beautiful video that Chris made with his drone to promote the Spring Plant Sale! The first day was a huge success with the biggest crowds I have ever seen at a Monroe Plant Sale. The new kiosk of air plants in Chris’s 3D printer creations (generously donated for the sale) and the other lovely kiosk display items donated and provided by Tammy was an overwhelming hit; with Sara and Chris volunteering their time and talents to beautify and man the booth. MG, as volunteer, helped promote sales also was much appreciated. They all donated their time and efforts into preparation set-up for this sale, along with Jon, and Emily photographing.
The crowds joyfully poured in along with some unexpected visitors from NC, Lois and June! What an incredible surprise blessing that was!
The lines continued steadily throughout the day until closing with great efforts and support from all the other MTC staff, volunteers and students who helped make day one great.
We are looking forward to the second day of the sale, with lots of beautiful plants left to choose from.
All things creative….God’s children did it all! Sun, fun, joy and peace all packed in the creative flow when connections are made to make each other’s gifts shine. Great show!

What a glorious display of the Works of God’s hand that through His astounding abundance He entrusted into the hands of man. WOW!!
The Spring Plant Sale was amazing. The effort of all involved that Debi
enumerated above….plus the skill and knowledge that the Lord has given as a marvelous gift to Debi….was so greatly evident. And, people were amazed at the displays of the containers Chris made with his 3D Printer and the air plants hanging in a spray of color [Sara’s favorite thing ‘COLOR’] over the whole area…totally eye-catching!
It was fun and frantic and fantastic and frolicsome…the feeling of community and enjoying the works of glory and grace. I loved it.
