  1. Beauty to behold! My thoughts seem to dance like the water in the photo how the Holy Spirit speaks to the heart and cultivates the soul. πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ

    1. As I return to review this scene of sun, water and place I reread my own comment and pause to give thanks for the joy of the Holy Spirit. I was just texting our friend, Tammy, and asked her for more details about a conference she had shared with us over a week ago in this place where the sunsets are some of the most beautiful. We had had a nice long day and at the end she shared a great upcoming conference. We were to get back to her for tickets. Just over a week and “things happen.” Yet, in my sleep last night I had the gentle reminder of the conference and remembered in awaking. 😱😍😊 now how sweet is that! πŸ€”πŸ¦ He surely spoke to my heart about a conference that may just be a part of cultivating the soul! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised!

Psalm 113:3″From the rising of the sun to its setting
The name of the LORD is to be praised.”

  2. I love this beautiful photo by Chris. It is peaceful, tranquil and hopeful. Gazing at it brings me joy. Thanks Chris!

  3. I love visuals. God’s created beauty is beyond the best of our imaginations. His strokes make the best artist seem amateur. Photographers like Chris with a great lens in his hand can almost capture created beauty.

The Psalmist penning words describing what his eye might be seeing is glorious indeed but still does not quite match the beauty when our eyes behold His glory in earth’s diversity.

When I read Psalm 65:9-13, and hear in the depth of my soul that meadows and valleys shout for joy and sing I want to join in, don’t you. I see why Chris gave words to his photo. “Joy is seen in the setting of the sun.” πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸŽΌπŸŽΉπŸŽ€πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Thanks for sharing Psalm 65:9-13. It was a joy to read and think on and yes, “I want to join in…”
