We live in glory? Did you know that? The Bible says we go from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18 kJV
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
My name is Stella, I’m less than (3) three lbs. My parents are Jon and Emily. I’m part of the Lily family now! So happy to be here.
Did you see me breaking the stair steps for the very first time? Sara said I’m going from glory to glory! 🤗 Go and break a few steps today and be a 🌟 with me! Be sure to polish your walking stick and take along when you go. Your stick is loaded with words so keep this view in your sight:
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
Love Stella’s video with her ‘glory’ accomplishment! So glad she is a part of the Lily family and I look forward to hearing about and seeing more of her.
Thanks for the enlightenment regarding Glory, Sara. Even though I knew the scripture, I had never made the connection like you explained. And Stella’s video really solidified the understanding for me!
Debi, I think so often we are afraid of such a ‘Big Mac W0rd’, Glory! Well, that has been my life experience. It was easier to talk, sing and dance glory in my limited knowledge than to realize glory was being formed in me. I think NIV reads like this, “…we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Image bearer is the goal…we we see Stella a few weeks old climbing for a higher goal and we marvel. She may be less than 3 lbs following big feet around but she saw they were climbing steps and she was left behind. She set her eye and tiny heart ❤️ on those steps so as not to be left behind and she took the challenge. WOW 😮 Those of us that have trained a puppy to become our best friend know that a few steps are forgotten in a few more weeks when they see a bird, squirrel or other moving object of delight. ❤️👏🏻👏🏻
Let’s look at our stairs for a quick review… Look at Jesus. The Gospel writers tell us that large crowds of people came to him for many reasons. He had compassion on them and loved all of them. And he asked nothing of them. But he required much from the few he called to follow him: “Let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23). Their cross is obedience to Jesus’ commands to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,” to “love your neighbor as yourself; and to love one another as I love you” (Matthew 22:37-39; John 13:34-35). Those with an eye on steps, birds and squirrels He called and they gave themselves wholly to Him and his way of life.
I need to train my mind to follow my 🌟… Philippians (2:5) Paul wrote, “In your minds you must be the same as Christ Jesus.” Seemly, my eye on steps with obedience gets me to step into phases of glory. Well, these thoughts are my simplicity of “0bedience training.” Stella, your becoming my best friend!
Thanks for the reminder that we are being changed from glory to glory, and for sharing the video of that sweet little puppy, Stella!🐶 Watching Stella, determined to make her way up those “giant steps to her”, brings a smile 😊👋🏻 to one’s face.
Did you know Stella means ⭐️🌟💫⭐️⭐️🌟💛💛💛💛
😊🙃😍
Learning is fun!
No, Sara, I didn’t know that Stella meant star but thatnks for letting us know…what a great name to accompany the illustration you gave.
I appreciate reading and thinking on your “thoughts are my simplicity of “0bedience training.” It sure has pay-offs.
Bet Stella got a big praise reward from those that love her when she made it to the top of the stairs.
I love the videos of Stella. She is a good teacher to all of us in moving from glory to glory which I too had never thought about.
In I Cor. 10: 31 it says – “Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
Looking farther into the Word I found in Philippians 3:13
“I press on toward the goal for the prize, the upward call of God in Jesus Christ.”
In Col. 3: 10 “put on your new nature and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like Him.
Researching Glory, John Piper says,
“The glory of God is the infinite beauty and greatness of His manifold perfection.”
Looking at these scriptures, Sara’s word being God’s word and Stella, the role model God has given us – how can we walk in Glory”
First – believe and have faith in Jesus. Role model, Stella had faith that if her new master could walk up the stairs so she could do it also.
Second, Stella found out she needs to follow her masters commands as she will walk and listen to her master everyday . She will feel tge love and joy in all that is placed before her. She will eventually do all her masters ask and will touch others with her caring and love which has flowed into her life from her masters.
So we too need to walk in the Glory of God and learn to become more like Him knowing in our hearts we are a step closer to the Glory of God as we walk and talk with Him and fill up with Him and overflow with the Glory of God on and in everyone we meet. We too will be showered as we go with happy hearts of joy in all things.
Great job Stella! Thank you for being our great role model of our Glorious God. So like you we are walking in the Glory everyday.
In Col. 3: 10 it says
Rena, sounds like you polished your glory boots for walking. 👌
I must polish them every day with prayer so others may see Jesus and not me.
