  1. What a stunningly beautiful photo by Allan Hunt! To me it is the perfect visual expression of ‭Numbers‬ ‭6:24-26‬ , the verse quoted underneath it.
It truly is, “His beauty to behold.”

    1. I agree Debi, when we ‘Behold His Beauty’ we see His Face shining, “as a Glory of Grace”. Seems like the Glory of His Grace comes to me in song, scripture and nature. What a magnificent thought to think and meditate on.

      1. I agree with Debi and Sara, the photo by David Hunt is beautiful.
It reminds me of the scripture John 14: 6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
When I look at the pic and see the straight path of the light it speaks the way, there is no other but Jesus.

Also with the morning light, I think of the song “Great is Thy Faithfulness”.
great is Thy Faithfulness!” “Great is Thy Faithfulness!”
Morning by morning new mercies I see…

  2. “They said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he was talking to us on the road, while he was opening the scriptures to us?”—Luke 24:32, NRSV

As I view Allan’s photo of sky/sea while reading the road /land account in Luke I am reminded in moments like these, how my heart begins to leap with faith, hope and love as The Spirit opens the scripture to me through visual photo view. ✝️💟🌈

  3. Footnotes from my NLT Bible, for Numbers 6: 24-26 says: “ A blessing was one way of asking for God’s divine favor to rest upon others. The ancient blessing in these verses helps us understand what a blessing was supposed to do. Its five parts conveyed hope that God would (1) bless and protect them ; (2) smile on them (be pleased); (3) be gracious (merciful and compassionate); (4) show his favor toward them (give his approval); (5) give peace. When you ask God to bless others or yourself, you are asking him to do these five things. The blessing you offer will not only help the one receiving it, it will also demonstrate love, encourage others, and provide a model of caring for others.” Gorgeous photo above Allan, thanks for sharing!

  4. I sure appreciate reading the insights, comments, scriptures and footnotes by each one above. They continue to help link the scripture to Allan’s photo for me.

May Numbers‬ ‭6:24-26‬ ‭ be a blessing for Allan as well; as we learned from Sara’s April 1 blog, “Holy”, that Allan is “on a healing journey”.

    1. Yes, Allan is on a healing journey from heart surgery. Thanks for thinking of him and blessing him.

He took the photo and I added the scripture. His photos of the sky with sun, moon and stars so often paint a visual story for me. Holy are You Oh Lord! You created the heavens and earth and all that dwell within. I worship not the creation but the Creator by blessing others with the Light He has given me!

Romans One speaks of a very sad and devastating sky and nature study. Some decided to worship that which God created and not the Creator. Now, we have a different story with no light to bless others.

Magnificent are Your works Oh Lord! 🌎🌔⭐️💥🔥🌈
