What Are You Thankful For?
“Studies have shown that people who practice gratitude report experiencing more joy, express more compassion and generosity, and are even less likely to get sick.”
How do we nurture a spirit of thankfulness in our busy schedules? I find that being purposeful helps me to be vigilant in such a high stake action.
Happy Thanksgiving to All!
I am thankful for The Daily Lily! …
For all the blogs that Sara posts and the encouraging, motivational and inspiring words she writes (and beautiful photos like the one above!)
For the wonderful lessons from Judges and the Book of Amos that Pastor Reggie has shared.
For the faithful and timely posts of Pastor Reggie’s lessons by June.
And for all who visit and share their thoughts and input and prayers here on the Lily.
I am thankful for God’s Son (sinless) who willingly went to the cross for me (sinful), and the whole world.🙏✝️
I am grateful for the gifts God gives to each of His children for the purpose of working together just as the physical body works together. God gave the hope implanted deep in His children to connect in love and service. I love how our spiritual connections in learning, prayer and support has broaden since having the privilege of internet.
I hear people say we can’t get together for various negative reasons and I always pause and wonder if you feel that way how are your organs working? I Corinthians 11:3 “Sharing in the Lord’s Supper vs 29) For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30) That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31) Now if we judged ourselves properly, we would not come under judgment.…” Whoa I am so grateful for the ability to judge myself before I come under judgement.
So thankful for God’s Word and those that study with us and live out life as part of the Body is beyond the word awesome!
I’m also very thankful for pumpkin pie and turkey🦃 left overs!
Thankful for my doggies!
