I’m joining the daily lily school of learning
I’m so excited to get started. My sponsor is TammyH and she invited me to come and gather and learn and make new friends. She treats me like family. I’m so happy.
My first assignment is to remember
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, so you might grow wise in the future.”
—Proverbs 19:20 (CEB)
Welcome to The Daily Lily School of Learning, Tam-Bee! I am so glad your sponsor, TammyH invited you to come and widen our circle of friends!
Tam-Bee it looks like LLL gave you a very important first assignment to remember. “Listen to advice and accept instruction, so you might grow wise in the future.”
—Proverbs 19:20 (CEB)
We learned a lot from one of our friends, Polly, about the importance of listening. It looks like you have two big ears to help you. LLL gives us lots of advice here at school and like Bro Rabbit Timmy said, “She said that only comes from our class Leader, one named Jesus.”
It looks like from your assignment that while it is important for us to listen, we have to take the next step in your assignment and “accept instruction”. I looked it up and ‘accept’ means we now have to “agree to take something; say it is true and say yes to it”. Tam-Bee, sounds like we have got to hop-to-it when we hear it so we can grow wise.
Again, glad you joined us and I am looking forward to learning with you!
Hey, Tam-🐝 Welcome to the daily Lily! You are beautiful! I imagine you love day lilies. And, I imagine you are finding many in this season in NC blowing in the wind. Yards, barns, streams and fields always seem to have a group wave stop and see. Awee, our friend, Tam-🐝 for you it’s nibble a bite. Enjoy and when I get to ride and see the wave I think of sweet tea and corn bread, toooo!
We thank your sponsor, TammyH for inviting you to join our family of love class, called part of the church.
I love your scripture to learn it’s one of my very favorites. Now, your new friend Ms Debi is a high School instructor and she is always finding ways and means to let us nibble but move along. I see her Welcome note to you reminds us take steps.
She is so right. Your Sponsor, Ms TH introduced you to us and you accepted her invite and joined class. You took your scripture from our big book and did well. I think you are a very smart big Rabbit. I’m making you a class team leader. So, here’s your assignment. It’s a song🎼🎤 with instruction sung by a beauty like you and it’s steps in our class journey right from Our Big Book.
You will find many references as we share but here is just a touch of why we are singing. *see below after song

💛🐝 Lady Landlord
Tam-Bee, it is exciting that LLL made you “class team leader”! As a team member, and in preparation for your leadership assignment, I listened to the beautiful song below and reviewed the references LLL gave.
A few of my take-aways were: “There are many different kinds of bridges in this world. “ (quote from the reference notes). I thought that was helpful to know because we are all so different and build so differently. Tiny Tina’s mom, Dolly, was probably skilled at building a rabbit nest for her family. Our friends, the birds, are skilled at building different kinds of nests with different materials. We two-legged creatures have different skills and talents and gifts to build in other unique ways.
In the song, we heard that we can build from our “bank” and the other person can build from their bank, and stone by stone we will build a bridge that connects us. That sounds like we can be different and do different things to build different kinds of bridges from different ‘banks’ to connect us.
And the song said, we do this “where walls once stood”…
There sure are a lot of walls out there in the world today, Tam-Bee, don’t you think? So we urgently need to learn all about this bridge building.
Can’t wait to hear from you as you work on and lead us in this assignment.
I’m so glad you decided to accept the invitation to join us, Tam-bee! I hope to learn along with you?🤓✍️👀 I picked up my Bible after reading your first assignment above and read some more in Proverbs. I read this over in Proverbs 23:12. It seems 🤔 to go right along with your assignment verse above???? “ Commit yourself to instruction; listen carefully to words of knowledge.”
Hi 👋 Tam-Bee I’m so glad to meet you. It is wonderful for you to have Tammy As a friend as a bridge to bring you to The Daily Lily classroom. It is Also so nice to know a nurse who can help you physically and can also teach you what she as learned from the Bible and the instructions we have received by Lady Land Lord at thedailylily. Lady Land Lord has much wisdom.
When reading this morning I found a definition from Tremper Longman a scholar of the Old Testament which is in the front of your Bible. It reads:
Wisdom is the skill of living. It is a practical knowledge that helps one know how to act and how to speak in different situations. Wisdom entails the ability to avoid problems, and the skill to handle them when they present themselves. Wisdom includes the ability to interpret other’s speech and writing in order to react correctly to what they are saying to us.”
In Proverbs 2: 10-11 says when wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge (of the Word) is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you.
Debi covered the many types of bridges and she said “ That sounds like we can be different and do different things to build different kinds of bridges from different ‘banks’ to connect us.“. At first my eyes read it over and over until I think I got it. Or I’m thinking in a different way. Just down the road from me a bridge has been strengthened and new road pattern has been constructed. It took a lot of workmen trained in different skills to complete it and it has taken a long time even with the unity of the workmen focused on one new change.
God had a new change in mind for the sinner. The sinner had a debt to pay because of sin in the human race (that’s you and me.). Jesus carried out the plan by taking on the debt we owed for our sin so that we could have a new life without sin and this life would be forever with God the Father and Jesus. Jesus said in John 14: 6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
We also know from John 4:41c …many more believed because of His Word.” Thank goodness we have the B-I-B-L-E.🎼 With instructions of how to live today found in the Bible, which is all about Jesus. We can read and read and read but without instruction, we cannot understand. That is why we have teachers. TamBee aren’t you glad you have joined thedailylily class. We have an excellent teacher/instructor. So with instruction and more instruction in the Word and watching those who truly have a relationship with Jesus model the instructions in their lives: We one day might one day grow in wisdom.
Can you believe, we through instruction will in turn will be instructors to lead others to Jesus😊
A bridge to Jesus our Lord and Savior!
Hey, Happy 4th to America.🇺🇸 Lady Landlord said to protect lives this 4th we celebrate mostly digitally due to the rapid spread of Covid-19. We want to protect lives. 🙏🏻
Thanks to all for the lessons and the joy of learning to help live a life of great value that gives benefits to us and the world. My friends, I understand I’m just a bunny and big, great big truths are really big to me. But, I imagine you must feel the same when you think we are Ambassadors for The King of all Kings.
My long laid back holiday weeK-end has the best ever readings. I will share a little report on my books and LLL said most likely you all have these books in your libraries. Here we go…Bridges over many waters!
Bridges often gives us an image there must be water. Jesus often used water to validate divinity. We need water to survive! Wells dug well provides Water. And, water is needful to life. And someway water gives eternal life.
In the Old Testament Book we read of a lady named Rebekah meeting Isaac’s servant at the well where she gave him and his camels water to drink. Did you hear that❓ the camels had fresh water to drink. Jacob met Rachel, he thought her beautiful it seems, at a well where she came to water the sheep. Zipporah met Moses at a well where she and her sisters drew water for their fathers’ flock.
In the book of John in the New Testament library, Jesus met the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. Our friend, Jesus, spoke words to her that we need to ponder, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”…
💛Tam-🐝
Happy 4th of July to you, TamBee and to all in the School of the Daily Lily. I loved what you have been learning about the imagery of water. I like what you said we are “Ambassadors for the King of all Kings.” In my readings this morning which speaks in Romans 15: 5-6 “May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus so that together you may with one voice GLORIFY
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”🙏🏻🎶☝️💗
In Streams in the Desert i decided to do catch up on my readings. I stated with July 2. Tam 🐝 The reading is so cool. It speaks of God building a bridge of faith.
“The Lord only builds a bridge of faith directly under the feet of a faithful traveler. He never builds a few steps ahead, for then it would not be one of faith. ‘ We live by faith and not by sight.’”
🤔 i thought of a toddler who is learning to walk. They are not steady and may fall at first. As they grow in their ability to walk, aided by their parents in the beginning they become stronger until they can walk on their own. So as we walk in faith we grow in our faith. God walks with us encouraging us on. He sends others to encourage us. Unlike a baby learning to walk we never walk in faith by ourselves. Thank you Jesus!!!
Rena, I received this today and loo, listen and see how the Holy Spirit works.
Tam-Bee, you are giving us a lot to think on with our water lessons. Looks like we your friends here on The Daily Lily School of Learning are studying along to follow our team leader!
You said, “We need water to survive!”… “And, water is needful to life.”
Today, it was especially hot and that made me unusually grateful for water to revive the flowers and garden plants. Without it, they perish, and then ultimately all our rabbit and animal friends and us two-legged creatures would perish for lack of food and the 02 they give off. With it, and its life-giving miracle properties, they revive and flourish…and their life-cycles can go on and on and on….“And someway water gives eternal life.”
Tam-Bee, you said, “Our friend, Jesus, spoke words to her that we need to ponder, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”…
As I pondered and read more, I saw our Friend said, ”I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will freely give to the thirsty from the spring of the water of life.” Rev 21:6
And of His friend, John, saw this, “Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” Rev 22:1
I think I am getting the point about the absolute need for this water and its connection to our Friend that gives us Eternal Life, and that this water is connected with good, not evil.
“But whenever a foul spirit goes out from a man, it wanders about in places without water in them, and it seeks rest and does not find it.” Matthew 12:43
Oh, and I join in a “Happy 4th to America”and agree with the wise reminder from LLL: “Lady Landlord said to protect lives this 4th we celebrate mostly digitally due to the rapid spread of Covid-19. We want to protect lives. 🙏🏻”
