A Vase in bloom

Fresh flowers in my kitchen window always causes me to sing a new song! 🎼 How do you like my new translucent bud vase? Chris, my son, made it for me with his 3D printer. I used water pics to keep the flowers fresh! 💗

What song comes to your mind when you see fresh flowers after a long cold winter? What potential do you see in another when reality says slim!

I like this song…..

“In the bulb there is a flower; in the seed, an apple tree,
In cocoons, a hidden promise: butterflies will soon be free!
In the cold and snow of winter there’s a spring that wants to be,
Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

There’s a song in every silence, seeking word and melody;
There’s a dawn in every darkness, bringing hope to you and me.
From the past will come the future; what it holds, a mystery,
Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.

In our end is our beginning; in our time, infinity;
In our doubt there is believing; in our life, eternity,
In our death, a resurrection; at the last, a victory,
Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.”

  1. Today, I was gifted by a friend named Debi with sunflower seeds that she patiently planted for me while I stood by with weed thoughts about my 🌻 seeds. My mind would say, don’t expect much from that one seed. Winds blowing hard, birds might eat, to much shade etc etc.

    Someway, I believe The Holy Spirit planted a seed thought in my mind of a lady named Ann I heard about.

    “Ann Smith, who is half through her tenth decade, says, she has chosen her guiding objective for this part of her journey; it is this: To nurture a “passionate sense of potential” in all situations and with all people. She says this means that she will try to see clearly what is, then beyond what is to the potential, and finally, to relate to each person or situation based on the potential, nourishing what could be.”

    Hope bloomed in my mind as I wait patiently to see 🌻🌻🌻

  2. Sara, I love your 3D vase, your water pic idea, your photo of your flowers, your questions; the song that came to your mind and what the lady that came to your mind said.

    Your words, photo, writings of others was like a landscape design to me….a spring meadow filled with things coming to life that I just want to walk slowly through and look at and think on for awhile…thank you for such beauty.

  3. “ what song comes to your mind when you see fresh flowers after a long cold winter?” I believe one of my favorite songs would be great to share in regards to this question:…

  4. What song comes to mind. Mine is

    Looking at the vase reminds me of my precious neighborI who graces me now and then with flowers from her garden in her grandmother’s special case. What Joy fills my soul when I receive it. We sometimes don’t recognize all the wonderful ways He cares for us.

    1. Thanks Rena for the song share. Very encouraging! It’s a blessing to know we live in the spiritual sphere of receive and give which brings joy unspeakable.
