Flowers appear on the Earth

“The flowers appear on the earth once again; The time for singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree has budded and ripens her figs, And the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, And come away [to climb the rocky steps of the hillside].”

White Hydrangeas Summer Blooms

Father, thank You for bringing beauty into our lives by giving us your beautiful flowers to enjoy. May the many that walk and ride by daily see, feel and know that You have placed these on a slight hill to bless them and find light, joy and hope for their daily chores. In Your presence is fullness of joy! “You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”Psalms 16:11

May this prayer bless all that see your flowers as the USA celebrates their independence day starting 4 July 1776! And, celebrate their day of freedom from all bondages when they found You and allowed You to change their hearts! We sing of Your Mercy and Grace and ask for Your Voice to be heard in our land! 🙏🏼

  1. What a lovely photo, Sara, to illustrate your scripture reading for this day, this season, along with the invitation to “come away” with Him. It is a blessing to pause and “behold” His beauty and creation.
    I would like to join in agreement with you in the beautiful prayer you wrote as well as the words of blessing. Amen.

    1. Debi, The Lord bless you
      and keep you;
      the Lord make His face shine on you
      and be gracious to you;
      the Lord turn His face toward you
      and give you peace.
      Numbers 6:24-26

  2. I agree in prayer also. Thanks for sharing the above photo of some of the beauty God allows us to enjoy. I give thanks to God and for all the men and women who served our country. 🙏🇺🇸❤️ Happy 4th of July to all!

  3. As Debi and Tammy give thanks to all that serve…I thought an interest article to review as we on a day of celebration of freedom pause to remember those on whose shoulders we stand. History we review! https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/04/asia/last-battle-american-revolutionary-war-india-intl-hnk-ml/index.html

    And then journey into the Word on which we all united stand and trust for yesterday, today and our tomorrows.

    ““You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

  4. Thank you for sharing the history review article, Sara. It sure shows a perspective that makes those “shoulders we stand” on a lot wider than I understood them to be.
    And your scripture and insightful words regarding it, also provide a much broader lens to see through and consider.
