“I Am exalted among the Nations…“

“Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations;
I am exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I saw this photo of a little town in NC from a few years back. I smiled, ‘a horse and rider’ rode into town for their weeks groceries.

I was also watching TV live from DC area showing a missile attack on Israel being launched from Iran. Lot of tension with hearing this may broading into a much larger conflict with nations and in the earth!

I started thinking about these scriptures, Be Still…know about God…He is exalted in the nations…He is exalted in the earth. His grace is sufficient…keep your mind renewed and you will know what God’s perfect will is. And, these words were also written a few years back and have been found to be true by many over much time.

There are just so many more scriptures that guide and comfort us. I feel so blessed we can easily read, think about, believe, share and encourage one another daily. Just as we are doing. Thanks to each of you!

 Thessalonians 5:11 – “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

  1. “I feel so blessed we can easily read, think about, believe, share and encourage one another daily. Just as we are doing.“

    Sara, I can’t agree more! Thank you for each and every blog post. Your thoughts, words, pictures and scriptures mean so much in the daily round; in tense times with, “Lot of tension”, and in all times. They are food for the soul.

    I find that they are a big contributor for me to keep focused on the Lord and a help to practice this important scripture, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

    I also loved seeing the photo of how one of God’s creatures was used to help bring the groceries home. Today I saw in the news that God’s creatures are again being used to deliver supplies to those in NC devasted by the hurricane. They have a niche and can go where vehicles and modern technology just can’t get through.

    Thanks for your prophetic, encouraging words to tell us to, “Be still, and know that I am God!
    I am exalted among the nations;
    I am exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10”

    1. you are so right Debi about the mules being used to get supplies to people where roads are gone.

      headlines…”Supplies arrive by plane and by mule in North Carolina as Helene’s death toll tops 130.”

  2. I love the Scripture you shared from 1 Thessalonians 5:11, and look at the few verses before verse 11. (9-10, NIV) “ God did not appoint us to suffer wrath, but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.” Now, that is wonderful news right there! Thank you, God, for sending Your Son, so all mankind would have the opportunity to chose to spend eternity with Him, and escape hell, where the worm does not die (Mark 9:48) and the fire does not go out!(Mark 9:43). 🪱 🔥 🙏✝️

  3. Sara, you mentioned ‘a rainbow of promise’ above in response to Tammy and also spoke about “A Rainbow” and God’s promise in a former blog from September 16.

    As I was reviewing one of your retreat books this am, “Dressing for His Glory” I was encouraged to read about ‘a rainbow’ again. Tammy may recall that the flower meaning for a flower she identified with, the Iris, means Rainbow. The theme for this lesson about the rainbow was “Clouds of Rain Bring Showers of Blessing (Ezekial 34:26.)”. Now, amidst the storms and clouds of today, I thought this to be a great promise to hold onto.

    “Sara’s Reflection” for this lesson was taken from her song, “The Glory of the King”. Fitting that this, too, ties in with the blog from Oct 1, “I am exalted among the Nations”.

    The song excerpt was,

    “It’s the glory of the Lord

    that turns my clouds into rain

    that turns my night into light

    that makes my heart to bud…”

    1. Thanks Debi for connecting the dots! I love seeing scripture dots connected as it has a way of building faith. Also, it often gives us wow moments of just how awesome God is working in our lives. He does really care about our everyday life and gives us a fuller photo with dot to dot when we take time to connect. Many thanks!

    2. Thank you, Debi, for reminding me of the meaning of the iris, and for sharing from Sara’s somg, “The Glory of the King.” God’s promises are always true! 🌈 ✝️🙏
