Your Faith has made you whole!
“And Jesus said unto him, “Go thy way. Thy faith hath made thee whole.” And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.” (Mark 10:52)
Jeremiah 30:17 says, “For I will restore health to you and heal your wounds, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast, ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’ The Lord promises healing and restoration to those who have been rejected and considered insignificant, offering hope and assurance of God’s care and love.”

““Come to me, all you who are struggling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. My yoke is easy to bear, and my burden is light.””
Matthew 11:28-30 CEB

As I read the context of the scripture you posted, Sara, Mark 10:52, I thought this blog connected to the previous one, titled, “Be Patient with yourself”. In the previous blog, you stressed that there is a time and season for everything; encouraged us to wait patiently and hope; showed the illustration of the butterfly in some dire straits in that dark cocoon stage; and then asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” (found in the context of the scripture Mark 10:52 above). Now in this blog, we seem to see a different season….waiting, hoping and asking developed into ‘action’.
I though it interesting that in Mark 10 there were two very different requests made to Jesus. The first by the sons of Zebedee (vs. 37) received an answer from Him teaching them about serving others and their needs.
The second request was made by someone who seems to fit the description of Jeremiah 30:17 that Sara quotes above. People didn’t care about him, they just yelled at him to “be quiet” (vs 48) when he shouted his request to Jesus. But Jesus shows that He cares, just like Sara wrote, and like He told His disciples in vs. 45, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many”. This waiting blind man that had been “sitting beside the road”, was called into action by Jesus to come to Jesus, and he responded to that call. He did just what Snoopy did in the great illustration Sara posted, “Sometimes we just need to take a walk and talk to God.” So after blind Bartimaeus got up and took his walk to Jesus, he had a talk, and told Him that he wanted to see…and Jesus granted that request.
What an encouragement this blog is, Sara, and the comment you posted from Matthew 11:28-30 CEB. Thank you!
”Go Thy way” Jesus said. Snoopy heard and went. Wonder why it seems too difficult for some of us at various times?
God is so good! So AMAZING! Isn’t His GRACE breathingtaking! 🙏🏼

Sara, one thought to your question comes from a devotional I read this am from one of Alistair Begg’s devotional books.
In it he states,” If we ever find ourselves doing all the talking, we can be sure of one thing: we’re not listening.” He references James 1:19-20.
If we don’t listen, we can’t hear; if we can’t hear, we can’t/won’t go.
Debi sure brings up a great point…. We need to listen. 🙏🙏🙏
Yes, Sara His grace is breathtaking! Why would anyone want to reject Him? 🙏✝️
