She named me Albert, light

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Flowers appear on the Earth

“The flowers appear on the earth once again; The time for singing has come, And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree has budded and ripens her figs, And the vines are in blossom and give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, And come away [to climb the rocky steps of the hillside].”

White Hydrangeas Summer Blooms

Father, thank You for bringing beauty into our lives by giving us your beautiful flowers to enjoy. May the many that walk and ride by daily see, feel and know that You have placed these on a slight hill to bless them and find light, joy and hope for their daily chores. In Your presence is fullness of joy! “You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”Psalms 16:11

May this prayer bless all that see your flowers as the USA celebrates their independence day starting 4 July 1776! And, celebrate their day of freedom from all bondages when they found You and allowed You to change their hearts! We sing of Your Mercy and Grace and ask for Your Voice to be heard in our land! 🙏🏼

Sing, all the earth…

O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord; bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. (Psalm 96:1-2 (NRSV)

Grounds at Balmoral Castle Scotland UK

You will be led out in peace. When you come to the mountains and hills, they will begin singing. All the trees in the fields will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to All that nurture children, plants and animals and often their parents or another’s Mother. Upon awakening and remembering “Mothers Day” I found myself reflecting on my sons and their skill of serving me breakfast in bed with eggshells baked in my bread. Grown men delighting me with the finest restaurants and with gifts that daily adorn me. Today, as we grow together as family we find our family has grown, changes in locales and lots of new adventures to savor and many yet to master.

I am thankful for family, Mothers and the love that grows as we grow, remembering those not with us and those we may embrace today! The old and the new makes for beauty when hearts are aglow with love! ❤️‍🔥

“ Sing a new song to the LORD! Let the whole earth sing to the LORD!” (Psalm 96:1 NLT)

John 15:19

“The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.”

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” I John 3:1

My Dove Moment-Tammy Holton

A love Song

In Matthew 3:16,17 A dove symbolizing peace, comfort and the fulfillment of promises. We find other times God uses The Dove to show and tell His Glory within the earth.

Saturday, April 30, 2023 I experienced a love song of kindness as encouragement in my life as this baby Dove dropped into my yard.

Lets keep watch for God’s goodness daily in our lives as he sings love songs to us in so many ways. Psalm 103:5 NLT “He fills my life with good things . My youth is renewed like an eagle.” Tammy

You are what you think?

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. (James 1:22-25 ESV)

Wonder how often we have thought of the Mirror’s duties in relationship to our thinking? Buddhist teacher angel Kyodo williams emphasizes how human it is to have desires—and how we can lessen our attachment to them: williams offers instructions on the practice of “letting go” of our thoughts, desires, and judgments through mindfulness meditation:

“We can see the thoughts that come up in our minds the same way a mirror “sees” things.A mirror just notices. It registers whatever passes in front of it without holding on to it in any way. It just lets go. It doesn’t think about it or have a long conversation about it. Since the mirror doesn’t cling to the object that it is reflecting, when the object goes, so does the reflection. It’s the same way with your mind. We don’t hold on to the random thoughts that arise over and over again in our minds and that can take us away from the full experience of now.”

We probably all heard that Dr Charles Stanley passed away recently yet leaving a plethora library of profound Biblical teachings. This message has been said it was the most listened to of any of his messages. I can see why. I would like to share with you. Yes, it’s on thinking!
