  1. Chicken Farmer is her name
    Chicken Farming is her game
But no old Farmer is our Wendy
    No! Our Wendy’s really trendy
She milks cows with great aplomb!
And when she calls her chicks, they come!
I’m sure she gathers eggs with grace
And keeps a happy Farm-girl face
When Wendy throws in her line to fish
For supper, there’ll be a great fish dish
    But Wendy has so many-a-gift
The ability to give her pals a lift
When they’re down and start to drift
Her humor comes so sweet and swift
The Nursing Profession is her passion
The Nurses’ garb her ticket to fashion
And all these qualities rolled into one
Plus being a wife and raising great sons
The blessings just keep rolling along
And I can’t find a place to end this song
So may the anointing fall and stay
Not just for b-days but every day!
    HAPPY, BLESSED BIRTHDAY Wendy

    1. MG, That Birthday song is awesome. Have you ever thought about writing childrens book’s. Your rhymes are so awesome they could put MOTHER GOOSE AND DR. SEUSS out of business. Thanks for being so awesome. God Bless!!

      1. Thank YOU Wendy, for the encouraging words. That is my dream to write songs, plays & musical and poems for children and WORSHIP songs to the LORD.

Thank You Wendy for the sensitivity
And the insight of what I’d hope to be
To use the Gifts God’s given me
I receive that as “conversational prophecy”
And may YOUR dreams succeed, is MY plea.

  2. Wendy,
I’d like to take this oppurtunity to wish you the happiest birthday! I don’t think I have met anyone who knows how to keep people in “stitches”, like you do. I hope you will always be that way, for we all know that “laughter doeth good like a medicine.” Thanks for blessing me with your friendship, and may you have a glorious birthday!

    1. On this anniversary of your birth I wish you a glorious year in the Lord and that all your dreams and the work that the Lord has for you to do for HIM in your coming new year will be accomplished. Many happy returns of blessings to you. Happy Birthday.

      1. MG,
Thank you for your wonderful words. I thank the Lord for letting his beauty shine through your words. I pray the Lord will Bless you and use you for his will. Keep Shining MG. God Bless!!

    2. Tammy, Thank you for your awesome friendship. You have been a blessing to my life and I thank the Lord for you. Thank you for making my birthday complete. May God bless you and use your beautiful talents for his will. I am just thankful this isn’t my 40th birthday. šŸ™‚

    1. Dorothy, I want to thank you for your beauitful words. May the Lord bless you and use your talents for his will. God Bless!

  3. Dear Wendy, I pray you have a blessed birthday. This is a song that the Lord gave me for you. I know it has no music notes on the page but they are in my heart for you today.

How Do You Hold the Wind?

How do you hold, how do you hold the wind in your hand?
How do you hold, how do you mold the wind in your grasp?
    It blows right in
    Then slips away again.
How do you hold, how do you hold the wind?

How do you capture, how do you capture a sunbeam for your very own?
How do you capture, how do you capture its beam so bright?
    It shimmers full of light
Then gets lost in the night.
How do you capture a sunbeam for your own?

How do you dance, how do you dance with a waterfall after all?
How do you dance, how do you dance so free, so free?
    It rushes merrily along
    And always sings its song.
How do you dance with a waterfall after all?

How do you bottle, how do you bottle the mist from the sea?
How do you bottle, how do you bottle its mystery?
    It rises with the day
    Then slowly fades away.
How do you bottle the mist from the sea?

How do you hold, how do you hold the wind in your hand?
How do you hold, how do you mold the wind in your grasp?
    She blows right in
    Then slips away again.
How do you hold, how can you hold Wendy?

    1. Debi,
Your beatuiful gift touched my heart with your beatuiful song. I want to thank you for such an awesome gift. It’s truely amazing, just like the one that wrote it. May God use your gifts each day to touch hearts. Keep writing and singing. God Bless!!

  4. Wendy, I love your wit and humor and think it a gift from God. But, I must say I love your sweet gentle spirit and the wisdom and gift of prayer that you so freely give. I am so thrilled that we have found a friend that had and has such great wisdom and pride of work given from grandparents and parents that knew and knows how to ‘open the windows of heaven’. Truly a great gift has poured forth from the heavenlies to bring faith and share faith on the earth.

As you share your faith with your family, friends and wherever you go may His Life come forth into the lives of many many others. I believe you have been given the gift of evangelism, giving and serving and you are in the right places at the right time for all your gifts to be used.
John 4:35″ … open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”

    Happy Birthday!

    1. Sara,
I want to thank you for your wonderful words. You have touched my heart and I do thank the Lord above for you and the daily lily. You are an inspiration to me. I will continue to pray for you and the beautiful people involved with the daily lily. God Bless each one!!

  5. I saw a hen and eggs for sale right near Tyson’s Shopping mall. I called and asked Sara if I could buy for you and we could ship overnight. She said Oh no, she has way too many hens and eggs and roosters and not enough closet space. (coop, I think she meant, but Sara only understands closet, yes and that is for clothes).

She thought you might need a little help in building new larger coops for all your chicks!!!!! She said all the real help you have now for building is Needles (not nails and a cheerleader!!!!!)

Happy Birthday…. and may all the promises of Psalm 34 be yours.

    1. Gary, There’s always room for a few more chicks in the coop. When my coop gets too full Needles, Jersey and I will build one for you guys. We’ll show you the blueprints next time we see you. I think we need to start a side business building chicken coops. I hear there is a large demand for chicken coops.

  6. NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS WHAT YOUR FRIENDSHIP MEANS TO ME. IT IS A BLESSING AND AN HONOR TO HAVE YOU AS MY FRIEND. GOD DOES PUT PEOPLE IN YOUR PATH FOR A REASON. YOU HAVE SHOWN ME WHAT LOVE, LIFE, AND LAUGHTER IS ALL ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO WISH YOU THE HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY. NOW, IN ORDER FOR US ALL TO CELEBRATE. WE NEED TO MEET AT NEEDLES HOUSE AND CARAVAN TO NEW JERSEY. BUT DONT TELL HER SHE MIGHT RESIST. WE WILL STOP AND P/U SARA AND THE GIRLS. WE WILL HAVE A BLESSED TIME. P.S. THE CHICKENS CAN’T GO. LOVE JERSEY

    1. OK, let’s go. You should have given us the menu and our energy levels would of picked-up and we would probably be gone by now. Will there be cheesecake, Starbucks, ????????

HUM! What is the temperature there right now?

      PS What about the cow?

      1. Sara, You can drive. I guess Tammy will have to ride in the trailor with the cow. I don’t want the cow to get lonely. Altough, that would be a long ride in a trailor with a cow. Sara you and Tammy may have to take turns riding with the cow.

    2. Jersey,
You are an awesome friend. I thank the Lord for you. I know we are not allowed to bring the chickens on the trip to Jersey, so I’ll bring a cow. If I can’t have fresh eggs for breakfast, I’ll have some fresh milk. I’ll get a tralior for the cow. I know in Jersey you are only allowed to turn left and this will be difficult with a trailor. Maybe we should take the back roads.

  7. I want to thank each one of you for making my birthday complete. Each of you have a very special place in my heart. You have been a blessing to me. I think you guys should start a business and do BIRTHDAYS AND OTHER SPECIAL OCCASSION. You’d make a killing with your individual talents that God’s Blessed you all with. If you need a manager give me a call. Thank you all for letting the Lord shine through your beatuiful words. God bless each of you!

  8. Dear Wendy,
I hope your birthday is elongated and that it will last many weeks. I’m really excited that I will get to meet you and all your lovely friends in North Carolina for the upcoming retreat. Do you make Fried Chicken? Or do the hens and roosters become pets? I hope for you this year that each day will be more filled with the outpouring of God’s blessing than the day before. Enjoy!! Love, Rena
