Our little 13 year old lady did not want to go out in all this ice and snow that we are having on Valentine’s Day in the Washington, DC area. So I dressed her in sweater, booties, hat and she just stood and barked at me. So I undressed her and put her in my lunch basket on my pink bike and rolled her down the street.
Well, Diamond, our little lady certainly did like that. She, as well as our other family doggies, Shadow, Lily, Roxy, and Ranger would all like to say Happy Valentine’s Day to all The Lilies. By the way they all (other doggies) braved the cold, snow and ice without a glitch.

Well! REVLON BEAUTY CORP. has nothing on our little LADY DIAMOND, the ‘dowager’ of the family treasures. Maybe that’s why they named one of their famed classic lipstick colors,
DIAMONDS IN THE SNOW !!
She is a valentine tribute to BEAUTY AT ANY AGE!!!

After more consideration, I remembered that the name of the Revlon classic lipstick was CHERRIES IN THE SNOW. So I did a little search and found an interesting connect to our little DIAMOND of 13 years…quite an age for a doggie. I found a book of ‘poems of joy and inspiration’ by Clydine Barrick entitled, “DIAMONDS IN THE SNOW”. And a ‘book of wisdom’ by Mary Fogarty entitled, “DIAMONDS IN THE SNOW”.
So our little dowager is among good company as she is a very wise little doggie and certainly rules the roost. The other doggies understand quite well and they bow to our wise little treasure.
So I stand corrected but in the process found some more interesting connections.
Diamond is a Real Lady…she knows the only way to travel is up high and with special people…she just wanted to be closer to those that she loves and its hard to do when your a very fine but small Lady of a pup..and on the ground…she just wanted to be up high and close…:)dj
Looks like Diamond has it made. Sara, I’m beginning to think Diamond is alittle spoiled!!!! I think you need to put one of my chickens in the basket with her so she won’t get lonely!
