A Child is born

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6 NKJ).

  1. Thank goodness for Jesus. Many are hurting this day. Many have a hurt which Max Lucado likens to a hole in the heart. The anger and/or bitterness eating away has done no good but leave a hole in your heart. If you want a whole heart the child of Bethlehem, Jesus, the healer, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Counselor, Wonderful came to do just that. Allow Him to hold you in the palm of his hand and minister to you today. He came for You. Come to him and be healed. Come and tell Him all and He will give you a whole heart to start the New Year.

  2. My mother-in-law who is 88 just told me that through the night she heard a man who played the guitar and piano and sang God Will Take Care of You. We thank God that He is taking care of us from the beginning of time. He sent is only begotten Son who died on the Cross for our sins so we who believe in Him will be reunited with HIM. Thank you Jesus for ministry of SONG.

    beneath his wings of love abide,
    God will take care of you.

    Refrain:
    God will take care of you,
    through every day, o’er all the way;
    he will take care of you,
    God will take care of you.

    2. Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
    God will take care of you;
    when dangers fierce your path assail,
    God will take care of you.
    (Refrain)

    3. All you may need he will provide,
    God will take care of you;
    nothing you ask will be denied,
    God will take care of you.
    (Refrain)

    4. No matter what may be the test,
    God will take care of you;
    lean, weary one, upon his breast,
    God will take care of you.
    (Refrain)

  3. It is comforting and encouraging just to read, and say the names and descriptions of the Lord Jesus. Though the governments of this world falter, fail or disappoint us, we can rest in the fact that His shoulders carry true government. Though days may bring sorrow, He remains Wonderful. When we don’t know where to turn, He is a true Counselor who has the answers. Though we are weak, He is Mighty. Even though all things are transient, He is Everlasting. And when things seem turbulent, He is true Peace. What a Christmas Gift.

  4. “Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel–which, when translated, means, God with us” (Matthew 1:23, AMP).
