Prayers for our day;

Our Father in heaven, help us to honor your name. Come and set up your kingdom, so that everyone on earth will obey you,
as you are obeyed in heaven. Give us our food for today. Forgive us for doing wrong, as we forgive others. Keep us from being tempted and protect us from evil. Matthew 6:9-13 (CEV)

Father, please be close to the members of The Daily Lily each day. Protect each of us as we go our separate ways, Watch over our families, our friends and our communities. Together we will praise and worship You and give thanks for Your guidance and protection.

  1. And Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name….help us to acknowledge Your Holy Spirit in our lives each and every moment of the day….to help us will and work to do Your perfect will in our daily lives. The Bread and drink that You provide for us is Christ’s Body and blood. We have never been forsaken or out begging bread for we are Your children of the Promise.
    May our words be praise and our music be worship of the most high God until we come into the fulness of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

  2. Precious Lord, I want to thank you for the opportunity to be a part of a Christian website. I pray that each and every word exchanged here on thedailylily, bring glory and honor to You.

  3. As I study David by Beth Moore I see by his example a man after God’s own heart. He was so close and obedient but fell so fast. As Beth said the fall began with a thought, then words, and then deeds. It hit a man who was so in love with God that we are all shocked at the suddenness of it. It can happen to anyone of us unless we watch and guard our closeness with the Lord. Thank goodness David was restored, but not without severe consequences. Beth gave three scriptures to guide through purity of mind during our prayer time with the Lord – keeping us close to God.
    Psalms 139: 23-24 Search me, O God and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in a way everlasting.
    Psalms 19: 14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
    Psalm 15: 1-2 Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart.

  4. Ephesians 3:16-19:

    “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. “

  5. I pray that Your Bowels of Mercy will be poured out upon the poor, the hungry, the abused and the sick throughout the world, O Merciful Lord, I pray.

  6. And Lord, I begin the day with a heart bursting with love and longing for our GOD and Savior. I bow in gratitude that having confessed my sins and faults and missteps of yesterday, I have a new beginning with You this new day with forgiveness from the Father through the Blood of the Son and with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit Who helps me to avoid the pitfalls of yesterday, today.
    May that precious forgiveness that I receive from the Father be the same that I extend to my brothers and sisters…as He has forgiven me, in Jesus’ Name, I pray.

  7. Lord I pray that all will come to know you oh Lord. I pray that you will fill each up and touch them each day on life’s highway with its curves and ups and downs. I pray that each person will notice the hand of God as it moves in his or her life in small and great ways in this life’s journey with Him. I pray they will stop, dance, and sing praise to God in thanks. I pray they will draw closer to God, talk to God about their troubles and seek forgiveness and repent so that they will be covered by the feathers of the most high and that their inner man may be strengthen by the Lord God Almighty. I pray that they will seek nourishment each and everyday from the Word of God and from those who carry the message of the Lord God. I pray that as they draw close to God that they will feel his warm embrace and become the men and women of God He calls his children.

  8. And, Lord, for this night…may your young men and women see visions and your elder men and women dream dreams that give a glimpse into the divine will and purpose for each of them, and us. May we rise to greet the Sabbath with renewed spirits and minds and gather together in love among the brethren to bring into the house of the Lord, our praises and our worship, our adoration and our gifts, a sweet fragrance in the nostrils of the LORD GOD Almighty. Amen

  9. I pray that You Lord will touch all that need healing today. (3 John 1:2)That you will bring comfort to those who need comforting, assurance of Your love and care to the hurting and hope to those experiencing difficulties. Thank you for Your goodness, faithfulness and salvation.

I want to thank You God and show my gratitude and appreciation to Tammy M. and her team for the 13 of the most outstanding, fun, useful boxes I have ever seen for 13 children somewhere in the world. Thank you for Franklin Graham and the Samaritan Purse ministry that will deliver these timely and orderly.

    Thank You Heavenly Father for Rena taking on the Team Leader to head up our team of workers and givers for our Christmas Project ’09. God be Rena’s strength, shield and help as she goes forward with this project for CCI/The Daily Lily.

    Thank you for Debi’s assistant to give work space to store and organize our project. And, for all that gives and are and will work on this project.

    O Lord thank you for blessing the children in great need through this ministry. I ask You Holy Spirit to lead many to participate in this ministry.

  11. Thank you God for MG for hosting a luncheon for pre- retreat planning for The Daily Lily ’09. Let all that come and participate have fresh new ideas. Give MG guidance in her generous offering of her home for this event.

  12. Heavenly Father, we have a prayer box in our sanctuary with many names that need a healing touch from you today. Please honor the names of each one that is listed for a special need by touching then with your Healing Hand. Father, show yourself faithful to the hands that took the time by showing love to write out each need for You to read. Father, I think on Matthew 4:4 when You spoke, “It is written”…Let Your answer be for the one in need that love You, that search for You, that desire You, that are Your children, “It is written.”

    Matthew 4:4,: “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’

  13. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Body of Christ. Before I came to know and trust you as my personal Savior I had not really known or understood the Kingdom work and the minstry of Your precious Body on earth. I thank You for the Family of God in Christ Jesus. I thank you for the fellowship of believers whom You’ve called as kings and priests to serve You, our God, here on this earth and to reign with You, Jesus, in the Heavenly realms. What a gracious and divine mission Your death and ressurrection have afforded us! Oh, that all men would come to know You as their Lord and Savior that they, too, may reign with You in the eternity of eternities. Thank You for anointed shepherds who guard their flocks with their lives and are watchmen over the children of God that You have entrusted to them. May You richly bless them with wisdom and knowledge, with compassion and patience, as they do the work of under-shepherds until Christ comes for us, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

  14. Father, I thank you for the Daily Lily and for each one that participates and visits this site. Everyone that comes has a need, Lord, somewhere in their life tonight. I pray you will increase their faith to believe You, and because You are gracious and kind and merciful, that You will hear their cry and meet that need.

  15. And dearest Father God, this is the day that YOU have made. Let us rejoice as we daily read joining those througout the world who this day search for and come to read words inspired by the Word of God; those as Debi described in her prayer, who need You TODAY, while it is still TODAY.
    Today is the Day of Salvation, for this is the Day, the time and place that God has made to receive Him into your hearts. Amen

  16. Remember my niece, Rachel’s husband, Chris as he is in Iraq and needs prayer for himself and the other soldiers.

  17. I pray for Dorothy, Rena, myself and others that are suffering from allergy and other related symptoms during this season of the year, Let there be healing flowing through our bodies, the temple of the Holy Spirit.

    I pray for Tammy H. and the strain and sprain on her lower back. I ask for comfort, muscle healing completely and peace of mind as she feels the touch of Your hand moving through her body to revive and give strength, Father, her body is greatly needed as she so tenderly cares for patients to bring then to healing, Return all these tender touches to her, I pray.

  18. I pray for Virginia Craddock and the spot on her lung. I ask as she goes to Greenville to have a biopsy and then continue with Cyberknife for removal that You God will guide the hands of the professionals that will so diligently and skillfully remove this tumor. Let healing begin and take its complete place in her body. May her life be a light to many in her community as she shows a great attitude on life and living and loving.. Be her source of light I pray.

    Please remember our dear friend, Hazel M. Touch her legs that she may walk again,. Heal her that she may walk in the house of the Lord where she so lovingly wants to go. Heal so the pain will only serve as a testimony to others their healing. Wrap her in Your loving arms, I pray.

  19. “Surely He’s has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows and by His stripes, the stripes He took upon His back….we are healed”
    Our God is an awesome God. He is calling His people to , faith in His power to heal, faith to believe in His Holy Spirit the teachings about Whom are greatly enlightening us through Gary’s lessons.
    We pray for these lovely people and include Gene & Craig and Clay and Jack in these prayers for healings from diabetes. I include Midge who is undergoing a procedure for her heart.
    We place these on the altar of mercy and confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that CHRIST the HEALER will bring them through, preserve them unto the day of their complete and total salvation, healed when they meet Jesus our LORD
