Thanks Sara! What a wonderful promise! I was just sharing this scripture with Rena a little while ago and believing it’s wonderful promise for someone in need of it. Then opened up the Daily Lily and there it was! God you are so good…. we can believe and receive this for that special someone in need of it today.
I love Isiah 49:31. My Mom loved this scripture and the song “Eagle’s Wings” was song at her funeral. Through all the ups and downs and her walk through melonoma she clung to this scripture. What a promise to cling too. I too have prayed this scripture for people who have asked me to pray and in my own up and downs of life, I have clung to it for myself. Sara, this is the scripture we have been praying over my dear borther who is learning to walk all over again. He took 5 stpes today and is exstatic. He will run and not be weary; he WILL walk and not faint, lose heart or give up. thanks for the confimration.

What a cute postage stamp! I believe that this scripture was one of my grandmother’s favorite scriptures as well. And what a great promise, when our hope in in Jesus!
The encouragement of the Lilies, God’s saints, is priceless. We are going thru a tough time right now. But the Lord uses His Word thru His people to encourage and comfort those who are being tested and tried knowing that the enduring of these situations works patience and peaceable righteousness in Christ Jesus. But Jesus took our pains and our sorrows when He was hanged on the cross and by His stirpes we have already been healed, because the work is done. It is finished. We just need to appropriate it.

They have been brought forth on a mission to minister to us and bring joy and love. What delightful creatures. Only the Lord God Alnighty could have thought up and created such marvelous creatures. Thank You Lord for doggesses and pups.
When we hope in the Lord, we put our trust in Him and find that as we follow to do His will, He gives us strength for each job, task or assignment. I often ‘feel’ that I don’t have strength physically or emotionally to get up and go to do the things He asks Me to, but He supplies the strength as I get in motion and start putting one foot in front of the other. For me this is part of the hoping and trusting…that my strength is not in me but in Him.
This is a hopeful scripture that encourages us that we can go from ‘strength to strength.’
