YAY for Sara! That’s a super colossal idea. Strawberry shortcake every day for a week!! Bible & shortcake…..I wonder if that’s somewhere in the Scriptures. Oh, I know! Maybe strawberry shortcake is what Elijah told the widow to make for him….1Kings.
But we don’t want to have the cake mentioned in Hosea that is half-baked.
Needles & Chickenfarmer, make sure you bake the biscuits for our strawberry shortcake on BOTH SIDES, as prescribed by the Bible 🙂

I love strawberries! Maybe I can go and pick some, but I don’t know about freezing them……I will probably eat them all, before they ever make it to the freezer! Heehee!
Well, Needles, if they do make it to your freezer I read that you should leave the green caps on (I didn’t know that) after you gently wash them. Also, the article said you could spray them with lemon juice and it would help them retain their red color and preserve them longer in the freezer.
Hey Needles, did you read Debi’s comment. 🙂 I do love strawberry shortcake. Now, not those biscuits but pound cake, even lemon pound cake…
