Double Chili Cheese Dip

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (15 ounce) can chili without beans
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup diced green chiles, drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
Spread cream cheese into the prepared pie plate. Top the cream cheese with chili, onions, chilies, and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes.

  1. This recipe calls for green (some call them spring) onions…so soon would be a great time to try making it for the ones who are soon to be planting spring onions in their gardens. The dry onion ‘sets’ should be available now in farm stores and you can buy them by the pound and plant…soon as they have grown into ‘spring onions’ pull them out for use in this recipe (and others) and leave the rest to grow into big onions for later or to store for winter.
