How many scriptures

How many scriptures

How many scriptures can we identify related to the Eagle? Flying in the skies of Eastern NC. A FB friend of mine, Denise Bunch, caught this on her camera while taking her daughter to school. She now knows how to find the Eagles’ nest. WOW

  1. Isaiah 40:31 “But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Exodus 19:4 “You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.”

  2. “Does the eagle soar at your command and build its nest on high?” Job 39:27

“Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.” Revelation 4:6-7

  3. Does anyone see Carolina Blue in this picture? From my eye view only a sky like this could hold the beauty of an American Bald Eagle! Isaiah 40:31 “But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

As I pause and think on this view coupled with Gods promises the inner man takes a flight without the plight of worry, anxiety or fear. The inner eye sees as the Eagles Eye many times sharper than our perfect sight. Flying over our mundane woes and looking down on the carcass we just left behind gives rise to God’s promises of a new day filled with faith in God and not our poverty thought of no answers for our helplessness. I hope you catch a ride on Eagles wings today!

  4. Isaiah 40: 31 was one of my grandmother’s favorite scriptures. Read with me the footnotes for this verse. “Trusting in the Lord is the patient expectation that God will fulfill his promises in His Word and strengthen us to rise above life’s difficulties. Do you believe God loves you and wants the best for you? Can you relax, confident that his purposes are right? Are you convinced that He has the power to control all of life–and your life as well? Though your faith may be struggling or weak, accept His provisions and care for you.”

  5. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Rev 12:14

  6. The “blues” of Carolina….the clear baby blue of the sky; the navy blue of the Albermarle Sound; the jade blue of the ocean at OBX; the misty gray-blue that embraces the mountain peaks at Grandfather and Beech Mountain. Good eagle country!
