And, God said;

Let there be Light! Genesis 1:3

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew (6:9-13) and Luke (11:2-4)

Heavenly Father, heal us, I pray….

  1. I would like to join in an Amen to this prayer.

    Sara, hearing your spoken words of this prayer brings another whole dimension to it. I think it does what the scripture you wrote states, “And, God said; Let there be light”.

    I was reminded of your own written words from “The Four Bees, Lesson II – Saying Power”:
    ”Sound makes light. Sound brings light upon the seeds”… ”God says in Genesis 1:3, “Let there be light and there was light.”… “We continually speak forth truth and when we speak forth the truth rains upon us …”; “And it happened as He spoke these things.”

    Thank you for speaking…and Amen to “Heavenly Father, heal us, I pray….”

  2. “ “The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all humankind. From where he sits enthroned he watches all the inhabitants of the earth— he who fashions the hearts of them all, and observes all their deeds. A king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. The war horse is a vain hope for victory, and by its great might it cannot save. Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and shield. Our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.”

  3. Beautiful to hear you pray, Sara, the way God taught us to pray. I pray also……“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew (6:9-13) and Luke (11:2-4)”🙏

    Heavenly Father, heal us, I pray….”

    1. Debi and Tammy, how blessed are we that Jesus taught us to pray? How blessed are we when we join in prayer we are joining with Jesus and multitude of saints?

      Our friend Beth writes, “Dear Sara, it is always darkest before dawn, yet your candles remind us that we are God’s light in the world. We need to keep praying to our Savior to let his light shine through us in these troubled times!💕🙏💕

  4. “Debi and Tammy, how blessed are we that Jesus taught us to pray? How blessed are we when we join in prayer we are joining with Jesus and multitude of saints?”

    I feel that we are extremely blessed, Sara, that Jesus taught us to pray and that we can join in with Him and a “multitude of saints”.

    I agree with “our friend Beth” and her words. Such an encouraging statement she writes, “it is always darkest before dawn”.

  5. The Lords Prayer
    Jesus gave us an example of how to pray and this is the example. When teaching children I like to use acronyms which I had found on the web. I’d use just the acronym with first and second grader and third graders (at end of third switch to scriptures also.). Fourth and fifth and up with scriptures.
    Address ( to Our Father which speaks of our Relationship with Him)
    Scripture –
    “…Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.”—

    Psalm 89:26
    (KJV) Not only does the Bible instruct us to call God Father, Jesus also said “call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” Matthew 23:9 (KJV) By establishing your relationship with your Father, you avail yourself of his great love and become part of his great family.

    P Praise Hallowed be thy name (hallow means honor as holy)

    Psalm105:3

    3Glory in his holy name;
    let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

    4Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always
    Psalm 148:.3

    Psalm 113:1
    Verse Concepts
    Praise the Lord!
    Praise, O servants of the Lord,
    Praise the name of the Lord

    Psalm 150::2
    Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
    Praise Him according to His excellent greatness

    R remake. Thy kingdom come

    Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of God 126 times in the ESV translation
    “For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.”—Psalm 22:28 (KJV)
    “Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.”—Psalm 145:13 (KJV)

    Matthew 6:33
    But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all theses things shall be added unto you.

    Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
    Jesus tells us to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness before we seek anything else. Jesus also tells us that the kingdom of God is within us but in order to enter we must be born again to receive a transformation. God is with us all the time, and the door to the kingdom is ready to be opened if we, with God’s help, seek, knock, and receive like a little child.

    A attitude. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
    “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”—Psalm 143:10 (KJV)

    Y yummy Give us our daily bread

    Scripture

    “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”—Psalm 23:5 (KJV)
    Jesus tells us not to worry because God will provide for us. In order not to worry, you must have faith in God. The last verse of the twenty-third Psalm says: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalm 23:6 (KJV)

    E. Expose sin. And forgive us our debts (sins) as we forgive our debtors

    Scripture
    Psalm 86: 5
    And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors
    “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”—Psalm 86:5 (KJV)
    R. Rescue. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil

    Scripture
    Psalm 97:10

    You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

    Amen! For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever.
    11 Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
    and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
    for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
    Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
    you are exalted as head over all.
    .”—1 Chronicles
