“… if you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29
When I look at those baby birds with their mouths wide open just begging for food. I thought….. wonder if I beg/hunger for food from God’s Word(the real food) like those baby birds do? Tamm Holton
“wonder if I beg/hunger for food from God’s Word(the real food) like those baby birds do?”
Tammy, those birds sure provide a lot of teaching examples to measure our lives by and learn from, especially in a world filled with so many burdens and struggles. Takes me back to Sara’s words in a previous blog, ““Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. My yoke is easy to bear, and my burden is light. ” Matthew 11:28-30 CEB”
And also, I think it goes right along with another comment Sara made: “we go quietly on to observe and learn as Jesus instructed us to do.”
Yes, Debi… these little birds and all of God’s creation can teach us, if we take time to notice, pause, and be quiet, and listen for what God has to say. You are right, we live in a “world filled with so many burdens and struggles”…. I feel that getting the chance to enjoy watching these little birds and the bird parents is what I would call, maybe, a “God Wink” and/or “a lesson” to watch and learn?
I believe! A picture is worth a thousand words! Thanks Tammy for the picture! ❤️

Love the video, Tammy, of the mother feeding her babies!
Thanks, Debi. I do too. 😊
