Thank you, God, for sun and showers.
Thank you for each lovely flower.
Thank you for each stately tree.
Though all these, you speak to me.

Wonderful prayer of thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, for all of His beautiful creations 🦋🐝🐞🌴🌲🌹🌷🌸🌺🌻🌞🌝🌧🌦☀️🙏
What a lovely prayer. Thanks for sharing it, Sara.
And it is so fitting for this spring time of year when each day seems to bring out a new flower bloom; an array of colors; trees being clothed again in their various and unique leaves; and the sun and showers taking turns to nurture it all. There is a lot to be thankful for and to pay attention to in order to make sure we do hear God speaking “Though all these”.
Debi love y our comment. We gardeners 💕 our gardens. With Jesus inside us we get to walk with Jesus everyday. I love to walk in the am hours and see what new has popped through the ground or bush/flower that has bloomed. Purple irises say as they have come, see I’m here for you see dresses in royal colors like Jesus. White iris have retired after blooming for so long. So pure all dressed in white Jesus ascended to heaven in white and will return.
Crepe Myrtle say I’m waiting for my turn to bloom. Reminds my of the childrens classes I’ve taught. They love telling others about Jesus. One girl told me while she was in the hot tub at the beach she shared Jesus with a boy who did not know Him. Gardenias perfumes the air as well as Jasmine. Some plants stand in groupings and the other spread everywhere making sure all are reaching as they all share in beauty the love of Jesus. . The veges say I’m coming soon to nourish you. They are now popping up everywhere Teachers, pastors get ready a whole knew group is opening up for you to share Jesus with.. If you really looked at yourselves, God has a msg as you walk in His garden , where do you think you are in God’s plan for you. Are you new to the faith in Jesus, are you in a group, Bible study or ministry.?Are you hungry for the Word of God. Are you a seasoned Christian with a strong relationship with God who is a beautiful glowing in Gods presence, who says I’m a nobody, but I know somebody who is and Jesus is his name. Please listen to Casting Crowns – “Nobody” on utube. Thinking about this It’s Jesus not me. So is better to put Jesus out front and for us to take a back seat.
Psalm 19:1-6
1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse proclaims the works of his hands. 2. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night publishes knowledge. There is no language and no speech [where] their voice is not heard. 4. Their writing has gone forth through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world: he hath set in them a tabernacle for the sun. 5. And he goeth forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber: he rejoiceth as a strong man to run his race. 6. His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit is to their utmost limits, and none is hidden from his heat.
The words below are elegantly written and easily read for comfort and peace. But, when I decided to use as a thread to weave color and design in our Lily tapestry that grows season after season I felt a little tilling from the carry over of Tammy’s foot notes from last post…Like 11:27-28
“Gardening (whether it’s in the yard or in the heart) involves some effort and sweat, but mostly it’s about allowing ourselves to be in harmony with the awesome creativity of the universe. We join hands with the Creator to do the tilling and the planting and nurturing together, then watch expectantly for the greening.”
