The Light that speaks of One’s
Entrance into a dark word!
The Light that speaks volumes.
(1)“In your light, we see light.”
Everything we see is illuminated by the Light.
This Light came into the world
(2) Darkness tried to snuff it out,
But it couldn’t!
I would like to ask you why not?
1- “For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light. Psalm 36:9)
2-“The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.” (John 3:19)

Thank you for sharing the photo, Sara. It shows us so clearly the contrast between light and darkness and how much one light can do to dispel the darkness.

A few scriptures that come to mind may be a part of the answer. They help tell us Who God is; that Jesus is the Light; that Jesus is the Word; and that Jesus is God:
“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” I John 1:5
“The Lord God says, “I am the First and the Last, the beginning and the end of all things. I am the All-powerful One Who was and Who is and Who is to come.” Rev 1:8
“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John 1: 1-5
Sara has asked, “this Light came into the world Darkness tried to snuff it out, But it couldn’t! I would like to ask you why not?” Would the verse in Luke 19 help us with an answer? “ 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” While the Bible may not use this specific word, this Light is omnipotent. ✝️🙏
