This is a quote from Robert J. Morgan’s book RED SEA RULES:
At the Red Sea, God put His people in a position where His presence had never been so real to them. Using difficulty, He cultivated within them a greater appreciation of Himself than ever before. As one commentator put it, ‘God’s presence in the trial is much better than EXEMPTION from the trial. The Lord’s presence is never so sweet as in moments of appalling difficulty.”

Eternity is only a breath away
Paul tells us in Philippians 4:8, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” {Footnotes: What we put in our mind determines what comes out in our words and actions. Paul tells us to program our minds with thoughts that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise. Do you have problems with impure thoughts and daydreams? Examine what you are putting into your mind through television, Internet, books, conversations, movies and magazines. Replace harmful input with wholesome material. Above all, read God’s Word and pray. Ask God to help you focus your mind on what is good and pure. It takes practice but it can be done.}
MOSAIC OF JOY
Sara’s Notes of Joy-I wrote this article about ten years ago when asked by an online magazine at the time to write an article on Joy. I must say I return to this article many times as a refresher course to Rejoice. Hope you enjoy this article as well as you read and REjoice today!
(Zephaniah 3:17) “The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
What do you do when The Lord is rejoicing with gladness and singing over you?
In the book of Zephaniah the prophet is describing the destruction of Judah, Philistine, Moab, Ammon, Ethiopia, and Assyria by the might nation of Babylon. Yet, Zephaniah was assuring these nations that not one nation of people was too far from God’s love, and not one nation was too small for His power! Then he closes this little book with powerful promises and encouraging the people to respond positively to God’s full circle of love.
Faith
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”
(Romans 10:17, NKJV)
Gift of Giving
“Finish what you started and don’t let your good intentions grow stale. You’ve got what it takes to finish your project, your program, your contributions…for you do it in the spirit of what you can do and and can give and not according to what you cannot. Let your heart regulate your hand”
This marvelous passage from 2Corinthians 8 is a wonderful encourager and pedagogue on Christian giving. One part of the chapter that really made me take note; “and God Who provides seed for the sower….that means He even gives us the seed to plant..and from it produces bread for our eating, as a result of the seed He’s provided for us to plant.. WILL INCREASE THE FRUITS OF YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS which are manifested and identified by others as YOUR active goodness, kindness and charity.”

Free Fall
When we suddenly fall and find ourselves hurt physically, we are at first startled and then in total disbelieve that an accident could happen in a split second that would change our whole day or days ahead.
However, there is something far worse in the spirit that can happen and if not changed could lead you in a direction that the Lord did not intend for you to go down. In fact it seems to entrap you when you are overwhelmed with life. It seems to happen when you are struggling to just keep your head above water in some area of your life or on your job.
What do you think?
Philippians 4:8 (The Message)
“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized.

The Gifts
I have been listening to the Book of 1 Cornithians on cd , narrated by Blair Underwood. His rendering of the Scriptures is excellent and helps reveal nuances that one might miss in one’s silent reading of the Scriptures. As he reads (and I continue to listen repeatedly) Paul’s addressing the issue of the gifts in the church . Paul is explaining that the body of Christ in the Earth is one Body. And he compares the mystical Body of Christ to the human body. I began to see a correlation between the way God has organized the corporeal body to the mystical Body of Christ , i.e. the Church.

Adolescent Seniors
Adolescence (lat adolescere, (to grow) is a transitional stage of physical and mental human development that occurs between childhood and adulthood. This transition involves biological (i.e. pubertal), social, and psychological changes, though the biological or physiological ones are the easiest to measure objectively. (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
