“For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.” (I John 3:20 KJV)
This Day
“Then an angel of the Lord stood before [the shepherds], and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.” Luke 2:9-11 (NRSV)

Happy Thanksgiving
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Isaiah 43
18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
“That my people shall proclaim my praise!” Today I am hearing from many church leaders God’s doing a new thing and some are desperately wanting to know what is this new thing? We feel so divided?
Could the new thing be, the Cross that Jesus Christ hung on in agony for the sins of the world? The Kingdom of Light vs the Kingdom of darkness? Could the new thing be the teachings of Jesus in action. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34
Results to be, 13:35 “By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”… Would this not be proclaiming the praise of God?

Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right. Proverbs 20:11
Wisdom in action
Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right. Proverbs 20:11
I listened to a podcast this week by author, Andy Andrews, whose books have appeared on NY Times best selling list. You can find this talk on his ”Blue Plate Special.”
A Christian? Yes! He drilled down on this verse highlighting the word, “even.” Well, that was my take away, ”even.”
And, my bottom line in thought after thinking on this wisdom taken from Proverbs is Character? What is character? What is my character? What to do when character falls below, conduct that is pure and right?
I would love to hear your thoughs, understanding of, and living life in the aura of
conduct that is pure and right.

I BELIEVE;

Teaching on Humility
“Then Jesus turned to his host. “When you put on a luncheon or a banquet,” he said, “don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives, and rich neighbors. For they will invite you back, and that will be your only reward. Instead, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then at the resurrection of the righteous, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you.”
Luke 14:12-14 NLT

Truth is vitally important for eternal living in the eyes of Jesus. Hum! Maybe some things he teaches best not to think about. And, if you are like me think this might feel worst than a bee sting please don’t read the other parts of this chapter.
I can hear Julie Andrews singing from the movie, ”The Sound of Music,”
“When the dog bites, when the bee stings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don’t feel so bad.”
Yes, my favorite thing, ”the love of Jesus”. How many ways to try and find ways to tell of how deep, rich, full and without measure his love is for all. Jesus doesn’t want any of his children regardless of their lowely place in life to be left out of our best. WOW! its not about my china and steak dinner but about Hos love and His williness to reward us beyond our thinking for loving others on His behalf!
Isnt His love awesome?
“Simplicity is Profound”
The beginning signs of Autumn here in Northern Virginia has pulsated sounds within me to keep a watchful eye on the simplicity in my eye gate to understand the profound. My thought, “Simplicity is Profound.”

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.”

Call together
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Consider now! Call for the wailing women to come; send for the most skillful of them.” Jeremiah 9:17
Ellicott’s Commentary for English Readers(17) Mourning women . . . cunning women.–Eastern funerals were, and are, attended by mourners, chiefly women, hired for the purpose. Wailing was reduced to an art, and they who practised it were cunning. There are the “mourners” that “go about the streets” (Ecclesiastes 12:5), those that “are skilful of lamentation” (Amos 5:16), those that mourned for Jehoiakim (Jeremiah 22:18), those that “wept and wailed greatly” in the house of Jairus (Mark 5:38). They are summoned as to the funeral, not of a friend or neighbour, but of the nation.
“but, of the nation.” I hope to meditate and think about this.” What do you think about this scripture?
