Happy 4th🇺🇸 2020

“These are the pleasures that we take in our own lives, our own wakefulness in this world, and in the company of other people and creatures—pleasures innate in the Creation and in our own good work. “ Wendell Berry

After reading and enjoying writings from Mr Berry I felt each thought he shared was an invite to roll back time as I paused on July 4 in 2020 to give memory to the things that I enjoyed while living in freedom of “let freedom ring”🇺🇸Old fashion values in my little village thinking would be kindness and respect for one another. A hand wave, a nod as one passes by, a tip of the hat, excuse me, a soft sorry, a plant clipping shared from our yards, and so many more. Sounds of 🐝🐝🐝🐝🧵🦋🦋🦋🐇🐓all while porch rocking and an old wood swing hanging from the ceiling. A hand shake, your welcome, an old fashion laugh because joy was in the air. A big howdy and how do you do? You are invited to roll back time and toss around some gifts from the marriage of Kindness and Gratitude! 💓 Happy 4Th to you and a picnic basket brimming over with your favorite things in great abundance. A few peeking through of peace, hope, love and joy. Good Day to you🕊

HELLO from NC

My name is Tam-Bee 🐝
I’m joining the daily lily school of learning

I’m so excited to get started. My sponsor is TammyH and she invited me to come and gather and learn and make new friends. She treats me like family. I’m so happy.

My first assignment is to remember
“Listen to advice and accept instruction, so you might grow wise in the future.”
—Proverbs 19:20 (CEB)

Meet Bro Rabbit Timmy

Bro Rabbit Timmy, I’m shy
I’m so tiny I wait until sis Bunny Tiny Tina leaves my food
I’m Bro Rabbit Timmy I hang out on the rug and I run fast

I’v made it to The Daily Lily Class! Lady Landlord allows me to eat and eat and eat! I’m so full of joy! She said that only comes from our class Leader, one named Jesus. And, His friends that I will meet here.

I’v got my first assignment to help me overcome shyness or maybe it’s just fear of that thief. Would you like to memorize my lesson? (See below) And, help me overcome the very thought of that thief. As you can see from my photos I’v been birthed into prosperity. I have bushes to live under, trees to shelter from the hot sun and leaves and blooms to eat and enjoy. Yet, I feel to hide from the thief that destroys. Now my very first lesson said by Jesus.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Find Tina, the Baby Rabbit

Jeremiah 29:13 (GW) When you look for me, you will find me. When you wholeheartedly seek me, “I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Hi, my name is Baby Tina! Dolly is my Mom! (See earlier Blog Dolly) You remember she only has one ear. But, it’s a good ear. She has been on maternity leave. I’v found a favorite food while hopping over to our school chair. My Mom, Dolly, your Bunny Friend, says it’s time for me to greet my school teacher, Lady Landlord.

She has been looking for Dolly, and we are found!

I have to hop very secretive under bush after bush because danger lurks for me as I’m an easy target because I’m Tiny Tina and learning the trails. I now have a spot to nibble goodies and use my bunny ears to learn new things.

It’s raining very gently here and Lady Landlord uses an umbrella with flora print. I just nicely sit under a green leaf and take mental notes. Here is my learning for today. They were spoken by Lady Landlord’s good friend, Jesus. She says, it’s not just words spoken by anyone but words of great power! I think they are worth sharing and leaving with my new friends. Hope to hop back on soon to see how you all are doing.

“For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:45-46‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Come, Sit, Reason and Chat

Isaiah 1:18-19 ESV “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;”

This word “reason” seems to elude the mind and heart like a summer breeze that caught a leaf! 🍂Where did it go? Or, a beautiful butterfly that flutters in sight and out of sight with the same speed.

Come, Sit, Reason and Chat

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 NRSV

“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And, if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.…”Galatians 3:27-29

Be a promise! Be a possibility! “For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.” I Corinthians 4:20

“You are a promise🎶
You are a possibility
You are a promise with a capital “p”
You are a great big bundle of potentiality
And if you’ll listen, you’ll hear God’s voice
And if you’re trying, he’ll help you make the right choices
You’re a promise to be anything he wants you to be”🎶 (Gaithers)

I’m Jack, the reading Rabbit

Reading the Big Book

I’m, Jack the reading Jack Rabbit

My first reading was found in a book called John and going by Chapters I’m reading from Chapter three and verse sixteen.
What an awesome story for a Jack Rabbit to read.

“God loved the world” my world is nested in
fields and meadows!

My personality is best described as, curious, careful, anxious.

I was discovered by an on looker and invited to join the school of Rabbit learning in a garden that has talking heads. The sunflowers are called baby doll heads. They bobble up and down and smile big in the round.

I feel so at home in this garden. I’m assigned a special chair and my learning book. My first assignment reads;
“No one has ever seen God.
God the only Son,
who is at the Father’s side,
has made God known.”
—John 1:18 (CEB)
I’m studying and told I will have new friends here to hop on with some clarification for my curious, careful and anxious mind. And, big ears on alert!

Gardens are calling…

We have created little outdoor settings so we could have guest here and there. If you sit here (see photo below) for a drink of bottled water and one sits on the porch in same type mask and gloves they can chat.

There are various settings to enjoy a garden. We tried to make settings 12-20 ft apart for now. Mask and gloves worn. It’s working and the gardens make it worth while to have little gatherings.

Things are going to get better and as we wait we can choose to add a little beauty to God’s earth each day and enjoy nature and friends

While pausing to give thought to God and gardens I was stunned remembering the various uses God designed gardens for?

Can you guess who my guest is? Or, do we need to unmask the mystery for you? 🌸🌺😍🌝

The LORD God created the first garden, Eden which we all most likely know a story or stories related to. After Eden, the Bible mentions numerous gardens and their attributes. In the Song of Solomon 6:11 and Luke 13:19, a garden is referred to as a place of shelter and shade, and also as a place of protection ( Song of Solomon 4:12 ).

Spring 2020 garden thoughts began to create ideas unlike in past Springs. Yet, not understanding the why really but having a knowing God knew so little steps were taken to oblige the urging of the Holy Spirit. Little did we know Covid-19 would cause God to need a gathering place for sharing. We have an “honor ones lost to Covid-19” sitting garden spot. Reading garden spot. Prayer garden and Chat gardens among a few viewing only garden spots.

Do you have a favorite Bible garden story? Home garden? Park Garden? Memorial Garden. A Garden may be calling you as it called a writer to pen these words, “I come to the garden alone while the dew is still on the roses…And he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known”

Meet Polly

I’m colors and symbol for a Night Light

The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.—Psalm 145:18 (NRSV)

Lady Landlady purchased me at a little shoppe in Edenton NC some years ago. I had two ears. I was often stored away until the dawning of a new Easter eve. Then with great joy I was hung over a wall plug night night in her kitchen. She would often remark on my cuteness.

Then 2020 came around and coronavirus and Easter was side lined in its traditional way. But, I was not forgotten and I was invited to bring my glowing light to a dark worldwide spot.

The mystery begins here. Where is my ear? It’s yet to be found. I still hang with delight as a one ear bunny. I still give color to the night light. I’m told right outside the kitchen window we have a friend, Dolly our one ear bunny. I’m not going to be packed away yet for next year’s Easter. Lady Landlord wants help with why two one ear Rabbits have appeared. A mystery in the midst of fight or flight for help to heal our land. Wisdom to direct healers to the Light. Will you help?

The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.—Psalm 145:18 (NRSV)
