“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 ESV

Do you feel the Holy Spirit’s breath? Just like sun and water to a flower.
When he (Jesus) had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.—John 20:22, NRSV

Story of Samson and Delilah-Samson’s final Revenge-Judges 16:23-30
So happy to have Pastor Reggie back for a time of illness. He gives thanks to all that rayed and continue to pray for his full recovery.
As we approach Holy week, I thought let’s ‘break bread words’ together that might give us meaning, understanding and love of living holy lives. Today let’s look at Holy! Let’s share what we know about it and hope to expand our knowing as we share our ‘bread words’ together.
News Worthy Bullentin:
1 Peter 1:15… “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, 16) for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” 17) Since you call on a Father who judges each one’s work impartially, conduct yourselves in reverent fear during your stay as foreigners.” Berean Study Bible
Holy for me and my limited daily thoughts in knowing Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, Prophet, Priest and King would be; Holy, I’m set apart for sacred use.
I would like to share a photo taken by Allan Hunt, OBX, of paint strokes of the sky by the Holy One! . Please say a healing prayer for Allan as he is on a healing journey.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.—Matthew 28:5-6, NRSV
Easter season is the most exciting time of year in church calendar celebrations as I see it. Come and see! Come and find a colored egg in a bush! Come and see a white bunny in a basket providing chocolate goodies. All good! Oh, less I forget my new frock and Bee Bonnet. There is joy and fun in rejoicing with the news of all news, “come and see!”
Once we go see and experience the life-death-living-resurrection power of the living God like the women at the tomb we then have something to go and tell. “Come and see!”

“Then Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “My teacher, let me see again.” Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.”—Mark 10:51-52, NRSV
Have we ever had a question like this proposed to us by the divine? “What do you want me to do for you?” Did we ID correctly? The question seems to be asking us to identify what would make us whole by naming the need that separates us from God and maybe others?
If we heard the question, do we have enough humility to ID our needs? This particular interaction with Bartimeus, the blind man, that Jesus was having shows boldness,(called out) humility,(removed his garment) trust, (faith)hope,(expectancy) and desire (aptitude for).
What do you want me to do for you, asked Jesus?

For one of our Lilies, Rena…Hope you enjoy your church experience with your children today. 👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻🕊 Pray your travels will be safe. Give thanks for successful breast cancer surgery this week. Give thanks for team of supporters that walked with you and gave of their time in being available in helping hands and praying hearts. I (we) pray that each server in your team will be filled with much wisdom, guidance and many other spiritual inclusions from the throne of God as they continue their ministry that God has called them to.
I (we) pray above all that unity in the body of Christ will be a community Light that shines high on a hill that will cause many to see the good deeds of Mary, Ellen, Pam, Jon, Jean and other ones even though not named. Good deeds and faith and faith and good deeds are the trees of stars that has low hanging fruit.
Our Lily member, Reggie Webb…as he remains in Duke Hospital with his beautiful, caring, loving wife, Nancy by his side and church family and community in concert to give cheers of praise for each step, Small it seems at times but major indeed when God is the Father and author of Reggie’s Book of Life. Healing and compassion becomes the crown upon Reggie’s Head…
A shout out to Carl Smith, Mr Copeland, Mr Hunt and others that are named in our prayers of hope as they heal.
