Love Covers

Love is a powerful force when read and acted upon from the Eternal Word! Love received seems to be double love. And, love given seems to triple love. WOW!

”A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.“

Three spiritually is a Holy Number. It represents the Holy Trinity that makes up three divine beings, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The second month of our year, February, often brings to mind; love month. Febtuary 14 many celebrate Valentine’s Day. Love! Some of us have Birthdays, or that of a family member or friend. This often prompts sharing love in words of praise and gifts of joy!

Contemplate love-to consider thoroughly; think fully or deeply about. 💛

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.“

So why EMBRACE PRAYER…Because “embrace” means more than to just agree with something or to grudgingly accept it. Embrace means to be content with it—or even love it! How do you show God that you’re focused on the new things he’s doing?

Black-eyed peas

According to Southern tradition, eating black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day will bring a year’s worth of good luck and/or monetary gain.

I’ve heard we are suppose to add collard greens also. Our peas have been in crock pot for hours since before day light hours. But, no Collard Greens with hot pepper vinegar! I just don’t know how to cook a pot of greens like my gifted Southern friends.

Hope-Peace-Joy-Love

White as Snow

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18.

A Snowman built to create joy from the wonder and awe flakes of ❄️❄️❄️❄️ snow gives as it falls gently upon the earth. It brings with it various benefits to the earth as well as joy to the heart when created for building and making scenes in our yards. I didn’t even mention the joy of making and eating snow comes.

Snow brings life to the soul when used as a story to shine light on the greatest story every told. The Christmas Story of Baby Jesus born in a barn and giving a light to guide the Magi to gift this child that would and is The Light that guides us to Truth!

Peace Peace Peace

“Because of the tender mercy of our God,
the dawn from on high will break upon us,

John writes, “On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you‘” (Jn. 20:19)

About the Music: “Let There Be Peace on Earth”

In Isaiah’s prophecy about the coming Messiah, he says:l

“For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
