Look what a splendid job our classes did with the socks for snowman and the tiles for coasters. See my article on “Crafts for the Classroom” for the patterns.
The squatty snowmen my class did. Now the teacher in the picture, Ms. B decided
to make the snowman and change the snowmen a little, quite to the better. She used
black socks and cut them to make a hat. She use grapevine to glue on for the
arms, and a orange pipe cleaner for the nose. Now doesn’t she look proud.
Ms. B did a great job, hers is a class act for anyone to follow.

Sunday school for a number of years and taught in the public schools for 18 years. I might say I'm retired but I spend most of my time subbing and enjoy it immensely.
The kids spark my own creativeness.

Oh, Miss B, I love your sweater and especially the color. I could sure use it as Stacie made me a bracelet and earrings for Christmas that has that color and gold and it sure would look smashing together. (Don’t tell Santa that I opened my gift early 🙂
Mrs. B told me to tell you that a friend made that sweater for her, so she was quite sorry that it is one of a kind.
I understand Stacie also knits, besides making breautiful jewelry. Do you think Stacie you could send me a pattern for a simple hat to knit for a mutual friend we have?
Sorry Rena…There is a mistake. I do just about every craft under the sun, but not Knitting. I do have a friend who knits. I’ll check with her and get back to you.

What I saw in my head (God gives me pictures) was like a hat with a two to three inch band with the mohair sticking out so thick it looked like fur. I only knit so if you have seen a pattern like that let me know. Thanks so much!!!

Wow! What gorgeous tiles and precious snowmen! You really have a great group of artisans Rena…both teachers and students. The tiles are each so unique and colorful. And great job on the black hat snowman Mrs. B…I love it!
