My Song for Psalm 102

Lord are you there?
Are you there….
Please bend down and hear my prayer.

Lord my heart is breaking
The tears continuously flow
Please bend down and hear my prayer.

I remember the story of Moses and how you bent down and heard their prayer of brokenness.
Please bend down and hear my prayer.

As I continued to cry out for help, the Lord spoke to me. I am in your sorrow. I will hold your hand through it all. My peace I will give you. My presence will surround and my arms will hug you. Then you’ll know I’m with you through it all. I’m always here, right beside you and I have heard your prayer.

Again, I cried, but it was because of God’s great LOVE for me.

I am a novice writer and painter who loves to be creative. I love singing but can't sing without a hymnal, except for children's songs. I love to make up my own songs and love the old hymns. I love to garden and got that love from my Mom and Dad who taught be everything I know from planting to harvesting to canning. I'm happy gardening, walking with my pug, JD Sir Winston Churchill, painting, and crafting. I love to spend Saturday's sitting in my rocker going through a bible study. I love working with elementary school aged children and seeing them use their creative gifts. I have taught Sunday school for a number of years and taught in the public schools for 18 years. I might say I'm retired but I spend most of my time subbing and enjoy it immensely. The kids spark my own creativeness.

  1. This Psalm vs 6 gives such an imagative picture when the Psalmist feels so isolated and rejected that he likens himself to a solitary OWL 🦉In a ruin house.

Often we may deglect the sentiments of this Psalm certainly for ourselves and often avoid others that are suffering. Seems Rena took the challenge and found God waiting to answer her call.
