I Need Thee Every Hour🎶

  1. I need thee every hour, most gracious Lord;No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.
  2. Refrain:
  3. I need Thee, oh, I need Thee;
  4. Every hour I need Thee;
  5. Oh, bless me now, my Savior,
  6. I come to Thee.
  7. I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;Temptations lose their pow’r when Thou art nigh.
  8. I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;Come quickly and abide, or life is vain.
  9. I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.
  10. I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;Oh, make me Thine indeed, Thou blessed Son.

  1. Yes Jesus we need the every hour. I love it. I heard a beautiful story from a retired nurse today. She said the atmosphere was so bad where she worked and she knew that Jesus was in the air waves. She bought a painting of the ocean and put it over her desk and played a cd of Christian music all the time. She told all the nurses they were not to say anything in front of the patients but they could go into her office anytime day and night and say whatever they wanted., but keep the door shut. She said soon the atmosphere changed to peace on that whole floor.

    No tender voice like thine
    can peace afford. Jesus everyday we need thy. The floor filled with peace.
    I bet everyone has a story on I need the every hour.

    1. What a wonderful encouraging story. Thank God for her boldness even if she had to find a hide away.

      A Doctor told me recently that he keeps the book (Bible) open on his desk and where he goes first thing am and throughout his day.

  2. I Need Thy Every Hour

    Walking on the mountains or in the deep valleys Lord, I need you Lord, every hour.

    Sickness may surround me but I know your hugs and words comfort me.

    Lord I thank you that you are with me every hour!

    1. And, Rena He is surly with you. So are many that are praying for your healing at this appointed time.

      I find hymns help me in my prayers. As I can insert Rena and others and sing away as a prayer of faith.

      Rena, did you look up the reference scriptures? They, too are very encouraging. “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

      “pray without ceasing,”
      ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

      1. Yes, Rena, I want to amen what Sara expressed above, “So are many that are praying for your healing at this appointed time.”
        I am singing and playing this hymn on my guitar for you.

  3. Thank you both to references to songs as I so love song and they are healing to my soul. Debi I remember so often your healing songs from your guitar and MG’s playing of the piano. As I work for BSF children school program I’ve listened to many songs glorifying Jesus and of His healing. Thank all for prayers and songs of prayer. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

    1. Rena, nice to have memories of spiritual gatherings which includes songs that give us a leanding stick when we need it most. Lean on those memories as healing becomes your.
