I am a NFL football fan. Each season I start out watching football and having a favorite team and hoping we will make it to the playoffs and then Super Bowl. But, as the season progresses and my team has not won enough games to make it to the playoffs but have another game orContinue reading “Fruitless Win”

I’m a Teapot
When I was little we didn’t go to the doctor much. There wasn’t enough money. Instead every time we were sick my Mom would drag out the china teapot and place a tablespoon or two of loose tea in the metal filter and fill the top with boiling water. The water would gradually drain throughContinue reading “I’m a Teapot”
Flies in the Face of Faith
When Christmas and other faith based holidays begin to bud in the minds of the ones that celebrate these holidays we see the hearts that has produced the buds. I have noticed more often than not behavioral patterns seem to fly in the face of my faith.
BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9) I think at times many of us get the idea this is just a nice blessing to be a son of God. While Bokeh may be a great form for photographyContinue reading “Communication is at a Premium”

You can see the deep hurt in them. They seem to stand strong, but it’s still there. I have knownContinue reading “Jesus is the Lily”
My Way or no way
How many times have we come up short with what we are told by God to do. It seems sometimes we don’t understand or don’t want to understand our horrible flaw of disobedience. I sometimes think that God needs to hit me over the head to show me what it is like for him toContinue reading “My Way or no way”
A Rainbow of Hope
There was a rainbow over Leesburg, VA on Nov 15th, 2008. I was returning from taking photos in Washington DC. With my camera ready, I pulled over on the side of the road, almost got hit by 2 cars, but captured Roy G. Biv with a perfect sky.
